evilnickwong: believe me u will like LFS a lot more than rFactor later on..

Joseph Hahn: Its kinda hard to control the cars with just kb.. try to set it up to pair with a mouse... Kb + mouse will feel a lot better..

Well u can actually cut down the wheelspins.I must say controlling with the mouse is fairly harder than the wheel cos of the pedals. BUT, there are two ways to cut down or control the wheelspins. In a F08 for example, shift to 2nd and then 3rd gear on the start. And also u can control your throttle by tapping on the key quickly. In that way, ur not constantly flooring it all the way.
Well thats how i do it.. not sure if it works for others though.. cheers happy.gif

i have a tips for newbies
set the steering mode to stablized keyboard and set the return rate to any value between 0.50-0.70
then it will be much easier to play
*
I wouldnt recommend keyboards for steering though.. The keyboard with mouse as steering combo would be better.. As u can adjust ur rate of countersteering and etc.

Hehe homura, if u wanna view other player's skin, first, u need to save their skin in data/skin x folder.

Nice skins? How bout making it yourself? Mayb some sexy seducing hot jap babe pic just on the rear fender? Heheh that would certainly screw up your chaser thumbup.gif

y when i use rear wheel drive car..it always lost control and spin out ?

very hard to control oh..

Erm how long have u been playing? If its just a few months then its normal.. Just practise more and give it some time..Dont push it, determination n patience is the key.. Erm heres a tip, go gripping first b4 u learn how to drift. U'll get to know how the XRT response and etc. Its like learn how to walk b4 u run?? smile.gif

Drift sim? Meaning? Something like NFS Carbon? A sim means something close to real life. So basically if a racing sim like LFS can already be considered as a 'drift sim'. Have u tried it? Try n and u'll be hooked up with it if ur a drift-racuned-guy like us

Those drifting videos from youtube are freaking tempting.. Those skylines! awwww but too bad its not free.. But judging from the way they drifted, looks like the controls arent that easy.. Somehow LFS drifting looks more natural to me

i hv a problem here, i'm driving the GTI, and i'm new in this game, y i always oversteer when i turning? i gt apply brake also but same problem@@
*
I assume you are turning the steering to the max when u enter a corner..Try applying how u turn a steering in reality..U cant possibly turn to the max at an instance..Try turning slower and slow down b4 the corner.. This is only essential for gripping/racing.

If u are goin for drifting, please come to http://www.drift.com.my/forum/viewforum.php?f=18 We will try our best to guide u and teach u how to master the basic techniques of drifting and all u need in a virtual 'bed' (only for 'PRIVATE' club) icon_idea.gif

HaHaNoCluE : its not entirely impossible. Trust me all it takes is just some amount practises and patience. But if ur wheel is on the way.. Then congratz! Hope to see u on track soon.. do visit us at www.drift.com.my or the direct link above. We'll 'welcome' and guide u with all types of 'genders' we have in our LFS community. thumbup.gif
