OCBC Titanium MasterCard for your Dining RM400 + Utility RM500 = RM900 (Balance RM100)
MBB 2 AMEX on weekend RM600-RM1K (Balance up to RM400)

Noted you have CIMB Petronas which means you pump at Petronas. Since Petrol is your top priority, go get UOB One Card and earn 5% cash back for Petrol for up to RM600 and once you reach this cap, use the balance with OCBC TMC or MBB2 AMEX (at non Petronas on Saturday and Sunday and earn 5X TP too, that's if you still have balance). With these 3 cards, you can earn up to RM130/month. And to maximize earning from UOB One Card, go pump at BHP smile.gif Please read UOB Thread and Petrol Thread.

As for airmiles, read first post and I guess the MBB 5X Treats Points earned with the MBB2 AMEX should be good for your case. For Enrich comparison, click here to see my table comparing different Premier Credit Cards where you can qualify for the Citibank PremierMiles.

For LCCT, click here to read my article on Free Entry to LCCT Plaza Premium Lounge with Credit and Debit Cards.. Based on your income, you should be able to qualify for Citibank PremierMiles and AMEX Kris Flyer and even AMEX Platinum Credit Card. However, to get the AMEX Platinum credit cards annual fee waived, you got to spend a reasonable sum with the card. I guess it would be easier to get the annual fee waived for the Citibank PremierMiles where the first year is FREE. Click here to read my review on Citibank PremierMiles Visa Signature.

As for insurance RM3000, no diff lah which card you use, even with 1% cash back, you only earn RM30 which is less than the RM50 GST. So no point I recommend you any new card as your existing cards that earns you 1X points should earn you more.

As for the CIMB and SCB cards, well do you make use of their promotions and discount offers? If yes, go figure out how much you save. CIMB Petronas credit card good on 1st of every month at Petronas smile.gif

Many Thanks Gen-X.

With my existing 2 cards - OCBC Titanium and Maybank Amex, I should able to save RM100 per month for RM2000 spending.

For RM3000 Insurance, I'll use my SCB for RM3000 to earn some points.

Let me think again on my next credit card on Citibank Premier for travel. Dunno whether really worth it to apply a card for this. smile.gif

my monthly expenses as following

- TNB, Unifi, Phone bill, Astro around RM400-500
- Groceries (Jusco & Tesco) around RM500-1000
- Petrol around RM200
- others example dining, insurances, cake material, car services around RM500-RM800

for billing i will use OCBC TI
groceries & petrol if weekend will use MBB2, else will use OCBC TI, except Jusco will use MBB2
i got 2 more cards are HLB Ess & SCB Biz Plat for other expenses
now plan to cut either HLB or SCB, keep which 1 is better?

actually got 2 more cards which is CTB CBP & UOB One, plan to cut them next year.

Quite similar to my scenario also. Currently I have MBB2, OCBC Ti, SCB Plat, SCB Gold and CIMB Gold.

Definitely I will keep MBB2 and OCBC Ti.

However, SCB is willing to waive my GST and annual fees - so I will keep SCB card too.

For CIMB Gold, I just want to keep it to buy good at Airport - because this card has 10% discount.

Any comment?
