With RM600-RM700 spending a month, what ever points you earn from Citi (exclude Ctit Cash Back Plat) or CIMB won't even be enough to offset the RM50 GST.

The best card for you is Maybankard 2 Cards because you are only paying a single GST for 2 credit cards.

The Maybankard 2 Amex can earn 5X TP and 5% cash back on Saturdays and Sundays for your petrol and 5X TP for your phone bills.

As for Insurance, use the Maybankard 2 Visa or MasterCard which earns you 1X TP (equivalent to about 0.5% returns which is the norm anyway.

Having said the above, break down you expenses and do a comparison with OCBC Titanium MasterCard where it earns you 5% for petrol and phone bills (for your case) and other general transactions 1%. Unless your insurance with GE, then get OCBC GE card.

Read the links I stated in my earlier reply to vinothrao84

Hi Gen-X, generally, my expenses break down will be something like this.
Petrol - RM 300
Insurance - RM 350
Phone Bill - RM 110

i was told to consider Maybankard by my colleagues too.. my concern is not about earning points, but rather the rebate + waving the annual fees and GST will be my priority..

For cash rebate cards, please click here to my Page of Cash Back at my blog. Looks like your case you can either go with HLB Essential or OCBC Titanium MasterCard which earns you 1% cash back for general transactions and also earns you about the same with your CIMB Supp card for overseas transactions.

As for Airmiles, PLEASE read the 1st post. As for LCCT airport lounge, technically you don't qualify for any cards. Click here to read on cards that grants you free entry to LCCT Plaza PRemium Lounge.o. You can try apply AMEX Kris Flyer, annual income requirement RM48K and you can always try to apply for any of the cards mentioned.
Bro, why you so lazy go compare yourself. I must start charging you for my free service, hahaha

With UOB One Card, above you earn Petrol RM15, Telephone RM2.2, Insurance Rm1.05. Total RM18.25

With OCBC TMC, above you earn Petrol RM15, Telephone RM5.5, Insurance Rm3.5. Total RM24

With MBB 2 AMEX, Cash Back Petrol RM15. Treat Points MBB 2 AMEX Petrol 1500TP, Telephone 550TP (if you can charge it on a Saturday and Sunday you earn extra 5% cash back). Insurance with MBB 2 Visa or MC 350TP; total TP = 2400 or RM12 (based on 10,000 TP to offset RM50GST). Total rebate RM27
