Guys, a tricky situation here. I am currently working in Australia and i want to get a supplementary credit card for my folks back in Malaysia. Any chance of that happening?

1. Annual Income: Private but definitely above >200k. Considering only Platinum cards and above.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Doesn't matter.

3. Card required for: Travelling, Frequent flyer miles

4. Existing credit cards if any: Bank of Melbourne Platinum in Australia.

5. Preferred Bank or Considering CC from banks: Doesn't matter.

6. Others: Please be specific. A bank that allows applicants from overseas

7. Fixed expenses per month with the card: Not sure yet, depends on them. They might not even use it.

8. Non-fixed expenses but recurring in RM: Not sure yet, depends on them. They might not even use it.

Tried Premier Miles from Citibank but they do not allow applicants not working in Malaysia. Thanks!

Good plans bro. Thanks for that. You are a living credit card bible. LOL. Maybe the fourth and fifth solutions will be the best for now. Seems fairly convenient. By the way, you seem to know Melbourne quite well. thumbup.gif

I Don't Think You can get Malaysian Credit Card ... sweat.gif
All the Bank will Decline Your Apps due to the Reason of Your Stability, Reputation & Duration of Your Employment/ Business furthermore without Malaysian Income Proof Document (e.g EPF) coz Working in Overseas...

But Anyway, Can Try Using  FD to Pledge for Credit Card by Signing Up a  Private Banking (Account) Services from Foreign Banks: Citibank, HSBC, SCB... in Malaysia maybe they can Issue Malaysian Credit Card for You coz they having Global Banking Services.... blink.gif
