1. Annual Income: RM24K to RM30K 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Would be nice to have XD 3. Card required for: Online Transactions & Petrol (and a little misc spending perhaps) 4. Existing credit cards if any: UOB Lady's Card 5. Preferred Bank or Considering CC from banks: Not particular 6. Others: As I will use this for online purchase, i'm looking for a card with ... theft protection? (in case of identity fraud, like someone stole my card info and use it to swipe something) 7. Estimated Spending per month with the card: Less than RM1K |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Mar 28 2012, 08:31 AM) Item 6 - well there is this thing called Credit Card Protection insurance offered by third party and some promoted jointly with the card issuer but it is not free. I can't remember, but there is one premium or platinum credit card that do offer 0 liability against fraud case. Hie Gen-X, thanks for the detailed reply! Will be checking out Maybank 2 cards later today From my experience, Maybank Visa or MasterCard not bad as you will get a One Time Password by sms. Same for RHB Debit Card. AMEX the worst security feature. I think your UOB card should be the same(?) So, if you ask me, if you kiasu like me, get a Debit card for online transaction where you can control the damage, i.e. no money in account, nothing to loose, haha. As for cash back card, look into Maybank 2 Cards or for petrol UOB One Card. Check out my reply to klcc212 and click on the cash back link. |
