finally.. or maybe.. they found out the problem..

they say the disc plate n the cover touching each other.. thats why got sound.. now no more sound i think..

will give feedback again in a few days time.. now they fix.. we might not know in another few more days the sound will come back or not..

hi! all. Need ask question regarding i just hear Myvi car easy to give theft open our car bonet. They will stop the alarm ringing at fius box there. after that our door will automatic open. Is it have this kind of news???

last time i went to service at SC, they installed a push-push switch near the fius box. FOC. it will activate the alarm if someone try to lift the bonnet.

huh! that means if original our alarm not ringing when bonnet open?

If it's still under warranty then go for the Perodua Service Centres. If it's not, It depends actually, I would recommend continue go to Perodua Service Centre unless you really got a mechanic that can be trusted and give you a reasonable price without cutting thhrough your throat

Added on August 18, 2011, 9:32 pmI think this problem has been fixed? Only the very 1st Myvi that came out had this problem, after that the facelift and Lagi Best didn't had this problem already so that people can't just open the bonnet so easily

When yesterday heard from my friend say like this really feel scary. I really hope this kind of problem Perodua really fixed already.

if ur car never come with bonnet alarm, then ur car alarm wouldn't make noise when front bonnet open......

hi guys. why my lb myvi cdplayer led is in green color? i saw from first post, the color is in blue???

actually i did nothing.. i went there.. the person there assist me.. asking me if i am servicing the car or not. i said NO.. i said car making some noise after just got it for 2 days.

then she said.. no worries.. i register ur name 1st.. then i hand over the key and the service book to her. then came a dude.. he told me.. lets go.. we test drive. after test few rounds.. found out the sound.. he drop me off saying he will go check it. i waited in the center.. i think around half n hour only..

the lady came and hand over the keys to me.. and told me what is wrong.. then din tell me got any payment need to do also.. i also just cabut lo..

and i did notice the one u said earlier about pressing the pedal.. then got sound.. my sis wan car got that sound also when press the pedal.. but not that loud.. i think shud be the air filter sound..?? because i noticed when i start the engine in the morning.. let it warm up.. then i saja press the pedal.. can hear the 'choo choo' sound.. the air sucking in sound..

You means when Perodua handover to customer original also like this?

By right it's turquoise, sometimes a camera can't capture the 100% exact color especially from that angle. Turquoise should be a mixture of a bit of green and blue.

Btw, I just calculated my FC, and it turned out to be 13.5km/l (Myvi lagi best auto)
What i did was:
1. Fill it full tank
2. Trip
3. Drive around for 300km and more
4. Fill it full tank (and make note of the volume)

So, i just divided the mileage in 3. over the fuel volume in 4. to get the FC.
13.5km/l is not bad at all, but i drive mostly on highways, so YMMV. And this is onli after my 1st service. Hope it'll get better after the 5000km service

LB myvi have the 'fuel consumption' indicator isn't it... why need to recalculate?

It's kinda greenish blue but it's more to green

Added on August 19, 2011, 2:28 pmI'm getting around 10km/L before the 1st Service. Is it bad for this type of FC be4 the 1st 1000KM service? Anyways I thought there's a indicator that tells you your FC. Why need calculate ?
