QUOTE(ks1234 @ Aug 16 2011, 11:35 PM)
mine average is 12.7 km/h. Is good or bad?
*
- for me, city drive avg 12km/L.... highway drive(90-110km/h speed) avg 16km/L.... my avg for this weekly basis is ~13.5km/L over 11 weeks... 50% highway 50% city drive...

- usually when i reach about ~380km then i will pump about ~RM53 then trip my meter A, B, and fuel consumption indicator. done weekly...

- safe fuel when drive consistent speed on highway about 80-110km/h (below 3k RPM)

- waste fuel when traffic jam, wait ppl with engine on, over 3k rpm and etc

- notice that when i sit inside car waiting for friend with engine on... when i turn my aircon temperature above 75%, the RPM will be higher and if i turn down to 50-60% then RPM will be lower... so i just on my air at 50-60% always.. sometimes even 30% only coz its freaking cold...

- oh ya i usually shift to N when i meet traffic light RED, except for small/quick traffic light.... im doing it 85%.. sometimes even jam...

that's what i experience... just for sharing...

anyway im at 3900km+ now... with all the way shell 95

Urm.. The problem is.. The sound right.. Did not come from the disc brake or brake pad.. Because if it came from there.. I can know wan thru hearing.. But now.. When i hear it properly.. Sound came from below.. And we try braking as well.. Soft braking or hard breaking.. Still making sound..headache.. Tomoro i will drive go SC and ask them check the car..

i think i might have the same problem... i try to open my window and listen to it and sounds clearer. it only happen when i step on the accelerate pedal or in other word, accelerating or while petal is stepped.

ok ! i m going to service center after 5mins from this post.. the sound is so louddd.. and it makes me wan to stop driving the car.. feel like something is grinding it... zzz

it sounds exactly like brake pad and disc rubbing each other.. but not that 'eeekkk eeekkk' high pitch sound.. more to grinding metal sound.. and it is very loud at a certain point.. rclxub.gif
*
oh mine is not grinding sound.. more like bell sound.. something like loose metal sound..waiting your feedback....

was wondering those SC ppl can detect or not lol..

finally.. or maybe.. they found out the problem..

they say the disc plate n the cover touching each other.. thats why got sound.. now no more sound i think..

will give feedback again in a few days time.. now they fix.. we might not know in another few more days the sound will come back or not..  icon_rolleyes.gif

Owh, means i have to play around with the gear for speed boost? i thought it was only for when i go up hill. Thanks for the answer  notworthy.gif
Btw, I just calculated my FC, and it turned out to be 13.5km/l (Myvi lagi best auto)
What i did was:
1. Fill it full tank
2. Trip
3. Drive around for 300km and more
4. Fill it full tank (and make note of the volume)

So, i just divided the mileage in 3. over the fuel volume in 4. to get the FC.
13.5km/l is not bad at all, but i drive mostly on highways, so YMMV. And this is onli after my 1st service. Hope it'll get better after the 5000km service  drool.gif

LB myvi have the 'fuel consumption' indicator isn't it... why need to recalculate?

higher is better...
for his case, his car use 1 litre of petrol can hit 17.5km during that particular speed...
for your case, ur car use 1 litre of petrol can hit 10.6km...

anyway, those FC are just a references only to advise u all for lighten u right foot...
the lighter of ur foot, the better (higher) FC u can get...
if ur car started without moving, the FC will getting poor due spent petrol for stationary condition...
but still just a references only and cant use as actual reading...

for overall FC of ur car, pump full tank every time to calculate the petrol pumped while traveled certain distance...
this method more accurate than "estimation" from our car...
*
yaya 17.5km/L (the last pic) is just direct 80kmph drive. however 14.1km/L (first 3 pic) is over ~360km drive.. my weekly average..

ya lighten your food on the accelerate pedal. The consequences is slow pickup speed. Just take your time to accelerate (slightly step the accelerate pedal and hold it there, not step deeper), unless you are some situation where u r forced to accelerate more...

just contacted my SA just now. wanna confirm when i reg my car and what is the rm2300 promo thing.

he said that its a draw lot among who's registered 1st-31 august.

its also mention duit raya in the ads rite? not rebate?

anyone from other branch confirm this?
*
what the SA said might be true.. and if u see properly in the ads, it says "DUIT RAYA UP TO RM2300" u might get RM1 only also.. or not getting at all...

and come to think logically of it... do u think a new range of Car will get direct discount/rebate so fast? if it happen also not so soon... i suppose
