banyak cantik oh. After he tune lagi cantik. Btw you know how they clean the throttle body? I just share for the one who don know. they take out your air filter box and hose. take out your spark plug and put in 2nd hand one. then one technician sit in the car another one use 3 bond car spray and spray into the throttle head. then the one sit inside keep revving your car. wait until white smoke come out from your exhaust. Then done.

The purpose they use 2nd hand Spark plug is to protect your SP. after the cleaning the 2nd SP head was so black. I asked them why? thy said because the spray will cause the SP the short circuit so better use old SP. over all i am very satisfied with their service. thumbup.gif

Sorry to barge in like that guys, but I just happen to come across this post. Just some clarification note here, I do it for half the price and this is not related to any advertising alright.

Putting a used spark plug in before performing threebond is pointless. I really do not understand how do you 'short circuit' a spark plug, when the function of a spark plug is to PRODUCE SPARK BY SHORT CIRCUITING the positive electrode to the ground, to produce spark.
The black plugs would be a result of carbon residue from the throttle body, intake manifold and intake valves and will clean up over time after a few cycles of the engine running.

I have NEVER faced any problems with these 'shorted plugs' before in my 1000 cars of cleaning smile.gif.

No offense alright guys, just clarification.

It's alrite. As long it's purely for information sharing and not bashing, we're alright with that.

I have very little idea of how the throttle body cleaning process is carried out.. Perhaps the mechanic use his own spark plugs to prevent carbon residue buildup on the client's spark plugs? Maybe he's the perfectionist type of mechanic that wants everything to look clean & shiny before putting back all the bits together? wink.gif What are the effects of carbon residue collecting on the spark plugs anyway?

No effects smile.gif.

correcto. It slowly and effectvely removes carbon from the throttle body area thus allowing more airflow through after the cleaning. More air, ECU puts more fuel, equals to more powah!!

Tell him this lo.. Who said anything about u modding ur NA car to compare with his turbo? blink.gif

So kiasu..sweat.gif he johorian/Singaporean ah?

A turbo car driver should always respect an n/a car driver, and vice versa. Yes, turbo much more powerful, and there's more space for mods to gain horses. However, if an n/a is really souped up such as the VTEC engines, they can take on a turbo anytime smile.gif
