Isn't that going to be a problem in case of emergency brake with 1.3 brake pump?

QUOTE(xandras @ Jul 28 2011, 12:57 AM) Actually the bigger problem with the brake in B/M line is the lack of ABS & EBD, not the brake pump. Once U've replaced the brake pads, it works perfectly fine. brake pad as in those racing pad? Any recommended brand for the pad?Why ABS, u may ask. PE is a fairly heavy car, & I think it's the only car in the market right now weighing in at 1200 kgs without ABS. When u brake hard in the event of an emergency, the mass of the car causes a big inertia, thus the tyres will lock and the car slides forward at full braking capacity. This increases stopping distance. Professional drivers will know when to pump the brakes manually to avoid tyre locking, but normal drivers would not be able to react as quickly. |
