Still different.. Ur tyre is 215/45/17, the GT's tyre is 215/45/18.. The larger the rims are (on the same car), the further away the centre of gravity is. Of course if logically speaking, the standard inspira's rim size 16 inch if paired with 215/45 tyres, the ride height will definitely be lower than 205/60/16. Lower centre of gravity = better high speed stability.

In ur PE's case with 17 inch rims, the high speed stability & cornerings are improved even though ur car is slightly higher compared to PE with stock 15 inch rims (yes, go try park ur car side by side with another stock PE. U'll realise this) because the tyres used on the stock PE are of a higher profile. Higher profile tyres tend to be more bouncy & floaty when going high speed due to the softer sidewall, and also because the stock tyres are not as wide as the ones fitted on ur 17 inch rims.

no,if u use stock inspira rim and tyre,ur tyre will kena fender when u load people at rear seat..

hello guys...i own a persona b-line 2010 chiffon green..
have problem wit the rpm meter...

story was like this...
my RPM meter works fine when i 1st bought the car at 2010...recently in april 2011 the enjin start to make some noise..
so i decided to bring it to the SC nearby my place which was in jalan peel at KL area...so they said it was the water pump problem...and they said i should leave my car there so they can change it and so i left my car there for a day...then the next day i came back to get my car everything was fine ....then suddenly when i turn on my car the enjin light was flashing and the RPM jump to the max which is 8...it was at 1(normally when u start the car)for 1 second and then jump to 8...i was shock and they check the problem but could not find what the problem is....but that time i could not leave my car for another day bcoz i was rushing to use my car...

then recently i juz went there on JUN to fix the problem left my car there again to check for a day....
next day came back....still they could not find the problem....they change all the enjin part and still the RPM meter still went up to 8....was very annoyed...coz gone back there and left my car still no solution in solving my problem...waste my time and money...from water pump to RPM meter if this fix after that another problem.....(hopefully can fix)

so now im asking any forumer that have any experience or know whats the problem to share with me...thx.....

Ok talking bout the discovery i made somewhere around last week...

As we all know that Caltex is very good for high speed driving (above 3.2k RPM) and also gives a very smooth and quiet engine..

Esso gives the best overall balance of power and economy.. The low end torque (below 2.5k RPM) is slightly better than Caltex, giving faster acceleration in traffic jams and slow moving traffic, and better FC than Caltex..

Petronas is very good for driving below 2.8k RPM.. With the best FC among all petrol brands, but its low end torque and high end power is lacking compared to the above 2.. 

So what I did the other day was I went and mixed 55% Petronas with 45% Caltex.. Voila, I have never got a better town driving FC that that!! My FC was consistently below 8L/100km... Rarely above it.. and on highway cruising at around 120kmh it was only 7.6L/100km.. But the best thing about it is the engine is very very smooth, and the acceleration was the smoothest and the best i ever experienced.. 

After that i did the same mixture for Esso and Petronas.. Engine was rather smooth but not as smooth as Caltex + petronas, but low end torque was lacking, I had to shift down whenever i wanted to accelerate a bit faster or go up a small hill.. But the FC was even better! I was averaging around 6.4L/100km when travelling a 80kmh.. and in my normal daily routine of going around town and old klang road i got an FC of 7.5L/100km.. 

As u all know the best FC i had   so far is with Esso and with the same routine im only able to achieve around 8.2-.8.5L/100km at best..

So u all go try it and give some feedback.. See if it suits all car..

Btw the Castrol Edge Sport 0W-40 engine oil is really good.. Even better than Magnatec.. My engine is very quiet and smooth.. The IAFM like issue was gone, so that means its the tappet noise that was actually creating all the havoc under the bonnet. Cold engine start didnt have any problems at all too.. All those standard dashboard rattling is gone and the car now
feels very noisy due to wind and tire noise instead of the engine and rattling..
