I've been transferred before through USB to LAN, more than 50GB per time per transferred, no problem for them.
1TB Ext USB HDD --> USB --> V10 --> 2TB HDD (inside V10)

So far I transferred PC--> PC via LAN no problem at all.
sometimes I "MOVE" files directly.
Now I use COPY and make sure all ok then only delete.

Oh, so that's means need to allow it fully scan only available inside the "movie" list.

streamyx already 3 weeks slow...sad... many nice movie just realesed, all queue up under download list...

Last night I try browse my movie in FILE MANAGER and press VIEW, can see all my movie picture which are "folder.jpg", I believe this is same display in Windows when you choose thumbnails view.
I no need view picture inside the MOVIE as usually I just use FILE MANAGER.

Anyway, this videowall is not a nice GUI like others chipset
so I stick to LIST VIEW in FILE MANAGER.

Movie title as top level folder ---> movie file with *.jpg, just rename the jpg as "folder.jpg"

Anyway, I still prefer to view in LIST on V10, unless the interface for videowall is more better like other chipset but not on RealTek.

so far, i'm ok with "folder.jpg" and normally i only put one picture inside each movie folder.

oh, any other new feature for the new firware?
while playing the movie, press the ARROW button RIGHT or LEFT, can fast forward/backward few second like the stock firmware?

and how about GOTO? can press ARROW UP / DOWN to change the time?

and how's your movie that "frame by frame" issue? can solve with this new firmware?

Yes, fast forward is slow and lag, better use GOTO as fast forward.
But movie a little bit slow response recently I tested.
and RJ45 Network LAN also faster than HDPro+ even I connected 100Mbps.

Anyone can comment should I flash the latest firmware as I still using stock firmware...

Yeah, right button = jump forward few second
left button = jump backward few second
very useful

oh, if removed youtube, then i stick with my current firmware...

My stock firmware can auto jump only I press LEFT or RIGHT while movie is playing, no need press "OK" button.

you can use below 2 method to access your v10's 3.5" HDD by using RUN command or put the address on windows explorer:
a) \\venus --> I always use this because no need to remember the IP address
b) \\ (v10 IP address) for example \\192.168.1.4

Note: Your setting for SAMAB must be switch ON

Recently I tried to use "TeraCopy" which is very useful and so far all the mkv files that I transfer from PC to V10 (3.5" HDD inside), so far...all my files are copy with error. And I'm very happy with TeraCopy which is really good and faster during copy files.
You can see the transfer speed and can copy files from different directory into same directory in queue, can pause, can resume, can verify after copied.
(I transfer files between V10 and PC is using LAN 100Mbps, until now still cannot manage to run 1Gbps...old PC)

But now, after flash the Dec, now cannot play it?
I tried "Rescan" and still cannot play... help ... help

1 - For case, I'm using 3.5" which put inside the player, if not mistaken, I think should be no problem to resume back even you shut off your player.
Sorry cannot give you 100% confirmation for this as I seldom turn my player . My HDD almost run 24/7... haha...

2 - fastest speed of fast forward is 32x. Yes, I agree with Cloud77, by using GOTO, fast forward by increase "minute" is more faster than using fast forward.

3 - So far I never have this audio/video out of sync problem. Do you have this problem on every files? or certain files? Which format file? If even small file (rmvb) also have this problem? Do you try redownload again the file on other ripper to compare? Or do you test play with PC? Make sure the file is perfect, because sometime is not your player problem.

anyone has problem after flash to the new firmware (Dec 2011)?
My v10 look weird, sometime I ENTER to play the mkv, then the unit reset (reboot) itself. Tried on the same files, it happened again...try other files is ok. Not sure what's problem.

Recently, my fren wanna copy movie from my V10 (hdd inside), then we just use USB cable and use it as external HDD (USB to PC). And we found out it some of my movie files cannot "copy", error msg pop up when want to copy them....

the error message is something about "...do not has permission to access the files...."
I think I have this problem since after I use V10 from the stock firmware, I just ignore it.
and finally, we copy it over LAN, no problem at all.

If you guys has any solutions, please help me here... thankx...
