I have no idea why Y470 get EOL-ed so fast. Not that Lenovo roll out laptop so quick like Asus.. I have no idea whats coming out. Perhaps upgraded graphics and processor.

Regarding the y470 screen. Its not a big problem. Its just below average workmanship. You can kinda see some gap as its not properly secured.. dont you wont go pry it open or do something to it right..

I do not have screen wobble problem thou.. Mine is quite firmly secured.

This quality build is very common thing in main stream laptops.. you are not paying for the price of a thinkpad. So dont expect like Thinkpad quality, or Elitebook stuffs. Come on. Even Alienwares report screen problems?
