Thanks viber for always listening to users man. Yeah i know some N*ver L*NE app is out and people are saying it's better and all but please, battery consumption and RAM usage more than viber, not stable, some cant call, many dont get verification.

Good things? Better VOIP quality no doubt. And more emoticons and sticky and better interface. (which is why the iphone fellas are like WOW THIS IS THE BEST BETTER THAN WH*TS*PP...) they did not even port to android properly.

So Viber guy. THANKS A LOT of course. But if people are not recognizing you guys, I dont know why. maybe you need to see what's with the sound quality of viber compared to L*NE. cause viber has more noise i can confirm that. But i dont care at least Viber can call without problems. L*NE cant even call for me. (i tested the VOIP quality on my gf's phone, not mine)

Lastly, maybe more emotes or interface tweaks or maybe ringtone change.

All in all i still think viber is best for me now since 2.1.2 because of A2SD and much more stable.

actually i dont care much about emoticons, im one that use very less to none emotes because i wan things quick and straight to the point. i use none but this =x (haha). it's just im wondering why people are saying L*NE is the solution for call and messaging apps when there is so many bugs in their port. i was suggesting that maybe people like these apps with better emotes or interface or things like that. just my suggestion. To me, a2sd, batt life, ram usage, more technical things like that interest me more. See i dont choose android for nothing =) (oh ya i use this emote occasionally too haha)

anyway keep up the good work.

Cheers.

this is very odd, after updating to the latest version (2.1.2) the app seems to hang. navigating to the Messages tab and other tabs requires more than 2-3 seconds. I have tried uninstalling and installing it again to confirm the issue is not related to other factor. I hope a workaround is in the work right now because it was smooth like butter before.

HTC Desire Z (Gingerbread 2.3.3)

p/s: my friend is using SGSII is also facing this issue. So this might not be an isolated bug after all.

Can you tell us moer about the "hang" you mentioned? Because so far i've encounter nothing of such.
2.1.2 is the version that makes me finally install viber forever in my phone and now it has saved me from topping up for 3 months already. (no i dont use a data plan)

I uses a custom kernel and also a custom ROM (MIUI-Au) so it should be one of the apps that is clashing with viber.
I suggest using "Quick System Info Pro" (Download free from market) and look at the apps list. Then maybe tell us all the apps here so that the viber personnel can check for you. Since you say your friend is using, then maybe both of you see which app you both have the same and list it out. Or if you're confident enough, suggest a suspicious app.

Good luck.

What i encounter though is viber suddenly puts down my call half way. Which it dont happen all the time and i dont think it's viber's issue (but if it is, tell me). Most probably a connection (being too poor) issue. Since im sharing my line with other 5 person.

After some time, even Viber service is running at the background, I still can't receive call unless I open up the Viber app for once. Happens to my sister's Galaxy Ace, and my Galaxy S2.

First of all do you have any auto task killer apps? or do you constantly task kills?

If yes i would like to share that android does not need any task killing, its multitasking is not the same as other OS. So please uninstall any task killer apps and refrain from killing apps manually so that viber will always be working in the background with C2DM.

Cheers.
