GE620 cost RM3299 if im not wrong. That price was as the last PC Fair in KLCC.
Maybe drop to RM2999????
But i doubt the DX version cost RM2999

Solid and the design is kinda plain and no nonsense on most of their units including some of their gaming series. Only lately have they experimented with more daring designs.

I have a feeling that the DX will either replace GD620 and cost the same RRP(3.3K) or it will be priced far north of GE620.

Guys I would just like to add to this thread...

In the Philippines there is a similar website to Lowyat called TipidPC. I checked and it seems they have the new MSI gaming notebooks as well...

Just scroll down on the link below to see the available models...

Below is the converted price in RM which is similar to the price stated by the TS:
MSI GE620x-i5185+ = RM 2996 (converted from Philippine Peso)

I believe this model will be available in Malaysia very soon and the price should be similar, if not lower due to better tax incentives here.

Now I'm not sure if the Nvidia Geforce GT 555M model with GDDR3 memory is better than the one with GDDR5 memory, but according to notebookcheck the GDDR5 model should be faster. Is this correct?

Some Y570 owners reported their GT555M with DDR5 performance is similar to the DDR3 version in M14X and some reported it's slightly slower.
