you need to backup your old phone. when u connect your old iphone, itunes will pop out. then go to your device's name, right click and select back up.

and then when you connect your new iphone, set it up as new, and go to your iphone and "select restore from backup" and select the one with your old iphone's name earlier.


btw guys, i want to ask, my iphone is 32gb,

audio is about 8gb, photos 2gb, apps 3gb, and others 11GB. i wonder what others is.
any of u guys know? does cydia apps like sbsetting, callbar takes up a lot of the space?

i just did my backups, apparently they saved it according to how many times you back up. not just one.

i was on 5.0.1, everything was okay, then i updated to 5.1.1, when someone call/i make a call, the top speaker is very very slow. i barely hear what people are saying. but when i use loudspeaker, its okay

any explainantion yet?
i want to do a clean restore but i want to keep my contacts, messages, photos, and whatsapp info in my phone. i tried using the manual backup, but when I sync into the SHSH(is it correct?lol) there is no file name as the one that I needed to save.

eg; contacts.xpa but when i go to root folder>contacts there is no filename like that(example)

especially notes and bookmarks

pls pls help

i dont download much from cydia. just 4-5 tweaks, and thats about it.
ive been restoring couple of times, and JB first before restore from backup. when i first JB there is not much "others" but when i restore backup the "others" came back.

guys, how come i cannot create group from contacts?

i did it before, but now when i open up contacts, then click top left button, there is no "add group" button at all. neither does the "ALL CONTACTS" option.

how ah?

Hi gus im using iphone 4 5.1.1. How come my personal hotspot is gone? Im positive its there before. And been using it couple of times now

you might want to manually backup everything. from your contacts, messages, and even mails
day by day, I found apple has a very stupid bugs that can ruin your life. its devastating

Hey guys, I want to ask,

Say, I have this iphone backup. I traced it back in CUsers:\\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\AppleComputer\MobileSync\Backup

I tried to transfer the backups in my external hard drive, but they cannot transfer the file. An error keeps popping out "Try Again" "Skip" "Cancel" are the options.

How to solve this?

bro yezhacolic, want to ask. is there any other way to download apps outside from itunes? the download speed is so slow, is there any alternative?

after hackulous is closed, i started buying original apps. but the download speed is really ridiculous. please advice
