Hi, did i miss out something..i trying to help my sis upgrade her iOS4 to iOS5
(using ipsw 5.0 not latest 5.1) but encounter 3194 error.

what i've done

1)already upgrade latest iTunes + Windows update
2)already restart pc + itunes
3)already edit host file (add or remove the apple server)..delete host file also do but not work
4)using button restore or update still same

before this no issue for me using manually upgrade (ipsw file)

dont give solution to update from itunes since my internet connection so slow

but if i'm using restore should be no prob right?

my sister and i using iphone 4.. before this i'm success with that ipsw file & using the restore way since i google and said from iOS 4 move to iOS 5 cant use the 'update' way..(im using PC) ..so now for my sis i try also do the same way ..(using her laptop) ..

both are us still NO JB.

p/s i'm using the ipsw file since update from iOS2 ..using update way ..until upgrade to iOS5 using restore way.. ..now helping my sister success before this but stuck to iOS5 pula

what u mean update in between? langkau ? eg like 4.1 direct to 4.3?


still cant accept the fact because its not happened to me ..tq for your guide will try later.

skrg ni nk update dr 4.3 ke 5.0..btw dulu ade time penah klr yg latest aku update 1version blkg dia (eg:2.0 update ke 3.0..masa tu da klr 3.1) still noprob ..then if yg ni SUCCESS pun kitaorg takkan patah balik nye ke lama..lgpun ni gune style restore ..yg lg pelik..aku ok je..kak aku lak mslah lol..2hp..cara yg sama..1 success 1 fail

btw i got issue, before this i'm using iMessage with my sister (it happened when both device connect to 3g/wifi if im not mistaken) ..but now when i cut off my 3g line ..so when she send message (she had wifi/3g) it become iMessage not send through normal sms..it become problem because i don't have 3g..then the iMessage not in until i had the wifi connection.

so far solution, ask her to off 3g then it become normal sms lol

that require the sender to do that..any idea from my side? if sender need do the action better i ask she off wifi/3g terus

how i want to set nobody can send through imsg? fyi she just send to my number not to apple id..but become imsg because she connected to wifi/3g.

ok..if im set it off..did she send imsg will come to me as SMS ? or still imsg and i hve to wait connect to free wifi to receive it?

better use any 3rd party convert in pc first to become mp4 then just transfer using iTunes.

so far i just off 3g/data only ..no need to switch to Aeroplane mode.

so far..i don't answer any phone number..except from family scare urgent matter

suddenly i have this issue,

sometime the keypad is not disappear when i go to "search" (swap the screen till end) ..any idea y?

currently now i have to login to the apps or lock the screen then open back to make it disappear.

im also suddenly cant send mms..any idea y? maxis got change their setg? 3g+data connection alrdy on
