Helping my aunt recommend a phone tq

1.Brand - Any
2. Budget - below RM1.5k
3. Specs - Android
4. Type/Size - Any

personally in my mind just got following choice
samsung galaxy s, htc desire s / desire hd, incredible s
*SE xperia arc and play tell my aunt before, she don't like the design

Galaxy S Plus @ 1330 ori, best among them now

Is the xperia arc out yet

can someone suggest me a phone that looks like an mp4 player (does not look like a phone). Can sms is enough. budget, below rm500..

1. Any brand
2. RM500-RM900
3.- An Android phone
-3G network that can work in United States like with frequency band of 850 or 1900
-If can cpu 800mhz or higher.

actually why not have a look at windows phone 7? HTC 7 mozart ORI is only rm780 here http://www.1handphone.com/984/promotion-pr...andphone-di-kl/. many ppl also say its super smooth and some even say its smoother than iphone but it still lacks apps and customizability but i think by rooting it would solve those customizing problems

if u insist on android, the best bang for the buck would be SE xperia mini pro or huawei ideos x5. Other wise u can also look at samsung galaxy ace

Recommendations please

1. Any reputable brand aside from SE
2. RM1400 and below (of course the cheaper the better)
3. Candy bar, medium size (to me the Experia is way too big)
4. Currently using Vivaz, issues that annoy me ~ Problem with charging the phone or media transfer, the connector at phone rosak already
in less than a year
~ Laggy at times
~ Turns itself off on its own
~ Applications turn itself on at times, eating into battery

But the functions available on the phone are all that I need, so looking for phone with similar functions without the touch lag or problem with charging.

^^That particular LG, is it reliable? My sis bought an LG phone (touch screen) not sure of model range. Rosak before mine did, less than 8 months old.
