with no europe football...KK has to try and win something this season even if its the league cup...and i dont think he wants to play his first team all the time...so play the 2nd rate guys which technically are still better than most of the reserve teams that the rest will send out

funny how ppl gave lucas 3-4yrs to develop...and are now taking it all out on henderson who has only just turned 21.

same goes for andy carroll who is only just 22, and technically hasnt even peaked yet.

Lucas in red circle, Henderson in black circle.


few seconds later, and he's still TRYING to get the ball.


after that he says f*** it, let Henderson handle Sessegnon


so is it any fault of Henderson that he went out of position when our DEFENSIVE midfielder couldnt close Sessegnon down?
imo, credit should be given to Sessegnon or just poor defensive abilities by ALL our midfielders.

for sunderland's goal...you can see Henderson was placed correctly.
Lucas no need to say la, imo i think he should've moved more towards the edge of the box.

never seen astro showing any youth matches, except for the world cup recently.

someone drifts out of position, someone else should drift in and cover rather than just stay static around where they think they should always be.
when u got wingers / backs going forward down the wings, the defensive midfielder should drift over and provide cover which is something that both alonso and masch did extremely well back then.
