wah nautica seems nicer and more nearer than where im staying now

where is nautica located actually? when i was walking on canopy walk , i saw a cluster of condos beside a lake which is located just behind monash

SMR grounds are off limits to students that dont stay there....without a smart card u cant get past starbucks =X

gave the student card to guard , he gave me a pass , when come back use pass to get ur card back ....

kinda hassle cause the pass wont allow u to get thru the electronic gate ..the guard still have to open for u


how to request for activation of card? is there a fee or something?

i didnt tap it , but all ppl that wasnt staying in SMR just go the guard, guard will keep ur student card while he give u a visitor pass with a number....then he will PERSONALLY open for you , the visitor pass is just like an id card not for tag....

then when u come back , u have to call guard open gate for you , then u exchange the visitor pass for ur card again


my friends did ask me whether want to go activate together or not , cause if we frequent go lunchbox its kinda hassle

dont know that excuse valid enought to activate? activation process do what..just go in there without student card (guard is keeping it)...no charge???

CGPA/WAM affects which class u get...1st class honor / 2nd class upper etc

employers wont see ur cgpa de la ...they just see what class ur in....unless u 4.0 cgpa @@

yes about the bahasa thing....the government implemented a new system starting this year.....

international students will have to go for classes that teach you basic communications in Bahasa Melayu

its not international students only........local student that have done Malaysian Studies/ Moral Studies during their pre-u yearshave to redo again because of new system

u dont have to ace it ... it doesnt affect your cgpa of ur course


during orientation ...i remember the requirement is local students to pass ....while international students just have to sit ( dont even need to pass)

the previous version of malaysian studies was freaking easy...even without studying also can get a B+

first of all , im certain that i wont affect ur cgpa ....2nd during orientation i didnt pay mch attention during requirement of international students , but im more than sure u dont even need to pass it ( u better ask them to clarify though)....

well the exams isnt that hard...just the lectures are boring and waster your time ...class normally on weekends(from my previous experience).....but from what I've heard , it seems that they are increasing the marks for presentation/projects etc

i dont really know how much a brand new text book costs.....all my lecture notes are available online and my class ppl have found e-book version of the textbooks


im still in sem one 1st year...still basic units ....ppl normally get textbook during 2nd year onwards when they start taking their major units


im in chemical engineering...sem 1 units are same for everyone (civil/electrical).....i will have a chemistry unit on sem 2

erm...as long ur studying in malaysia...u will have to do this ....

i prefer learn korean or france =3=
