QUOTE(anonymous112 @ Jul 20 2011, 11:50 AM) u're so brave. I'm just feel that i should be responsible to my family without taking money from my mum. So how's your living cost budget including hostel fee per month? are you going to work while study? i survived on loans and scholarships. there are different loans offered in Spore and of course, different scholarships both in Spore and Msia which you can apply. if your family really can't even pay for you to settle down in Spore for the initial period, email NTU. No one should be denied education in Spore bcos of financial issues.

QUOTE(amy_jacinth @ Jul 20 2011, 05:47 PM) TS, although it is UM that offered you the place still you have to bear in mind that for you to be a graduate from NTU it is definite that you'll get a better job prospect it is true that a degree from a higher ranking university will give you some additional points during job application.. however, it does not guarantee that you will get the job.. please bear in mind that you still have your results and interview.. as a matter of fact, i have plenty of friends from um and usm who are working in sg with good salaries.. if you can bear the financial stress during your period of study, go to sg.. else.. better do it locally.. you still can get a good job after that..
