Well in Mac it is call as AIR PRINT .. make sure your IPAD in iOS 4.2 version, you might need to use airport express or airport extreme as your printer wireless interface... connect your printer with the USB connection to the one of these devices then, then enable the share printer option from your macbook .. open any document or website from your ipad, tab anywhere in the screen, small dialog box will be appear, then select to The "printer you want to print to" next select the printer that already available from your network that easylah ... rclxub.gif

got you.. Now we turn our PC or notebook where USB printer is connected to become "airport express"..to share out our printer to IOS device. So that IOS device can print via airprint.

Congratulation Bro.. You are very near already... Just enter your PC/notebook user login name & password. You are done as IOS airprint need to login to your PC for printing purpose.. It won't ask you for the next time..

You PC sure have username one.. and not necessary have password.. What OS you use.. Right click MY COMPUTER, go to MANAGE- local user & group.. From there u can see what user you use for you Windows login.. Administrator?

Second way to check is to press CTRL + ALT + DEL, TASK MANAGER- USERS.. From here, it lists you the user that currently use to login to this computer

I followed all the steps but still can't get it to work.
I noticed that it creates another Printer option in the Control Panel. I also tried to set this as the default printer but my Ipad cannot detect it.
I using a HP p1006 laser jet.
ps. my firewall has allowed both AirPrint and bonjour

Anyone got it working and wants to share ?

Why your default printer is offline? Could it be the issue?

Strange. As for me running on a win Vista, I use those step and my iPad2 and iPhone 4 can print to my USB Canon printer like a magic. Anymore who want to share your experience of this tweak?
