The link you posted is "Bootanimation". It's the animation when you POWER ON your phone. For lockscreen, it's different. AFAIK, there's an app to change the lockscreen animation but you can't use the power button to lock it, need to use the "search" button to lock if I remember correctly. I'm not sure what's the app name cause I just install, test and uninstall it immediately since I don't wanna lock the screen by using other button other than the power button.

I think you can get it by searching at xda forum.

To ensure better performance, it is recommended to wipe everything. But seems like in the B160 thread, stockwell doesn't mention about wiping data. Up to you then, if I were you, I'll just wipe everything. To ensure there's no problem

I can't remember what's the application's name. Lol. Tried it before. Sadly, have to use other button to lock the screen, not the power button I'll tell you if I can get it back. Lol really can't remember the name.

For me, it's a good brand though since it's known for producing hard drives, pendrives etc. So, won't be a problem buying it. But also check out the warranty

Bro, found it already. The application name is "Screen Off and Lock". Try search for it in the Market.

For the Widgetlocker theme, you need to have widgetlocker lockscreen installed first then I think you can use those themes.

U mean MIUI? I've flashed it for 30 minutes then decide to flash back b137, way too many bugs, crashed 4 times in 30 minutes, auto reboot as well, for me its not suitable for daily use.

Always performed a nandroid backup before flashed any roms, boot to recovery, go to advanced and then backup, keep the clockworkmod in SD card, thats the backup files.

Just choose restore and let CMW do the work, as for backup files, recommend u keep it in SD or pc for future use.

Lol. If you boot to CWM and do a restore from there, it means you're restoring to the old ROM you backed-up, which is void in this case.

For apps, better backup using Titanium Backup. Then after you flashed new ROM, install Titanium Backup again and restore the application. (backups from Titanium is saved in your SD card)

To check which ROM you're using, you can go to Settings and scroll down, About Phone. See your Build number.

Hehe. We recommend you to backup on CWM before flashing because, when there's some problem, you can restore back to previous ROM you backed-up beforehand.

I'm not sure about Titanium Backup or Mybackup though since I still haven't use them when I flash new ROM. Prefer to fresh install applications.

I like void because it's simple and the status bar is black instead of grey.

I'll also choose B137 because I can choose what app to install with the ROM provided from MoDaCo's online kitchen.

Battery issue is not a problem for me actually. Maybe you can check and force stop those running app when you really don't need them? But well, it's better if the system just do their own things

Yep, CM7 is a ROM too. I'm waiting for it to "nearly bug free" or even bug-free then I'm gonna flash to it.
