Just bought this phone in black. Now I have both Huawei Sonic & X5.

X5 is so much faster. The 1st unit of Sonic that I got had a problem with the volume rocker. That (& sour-faced salesgirl who gave crappy service) nearly made me give up on Huawei. Thank God I got a replacement.

Sonic looks better though, sleek with no camera lens poking out like X5. People thought I have HTC in my hands.

Owh, yeah. The screen sensitivity on X5 is slightly less responsive than Sonic. Just a little. Can't wait for Gingerbread. 1 month with Sonic, I'm already missing pretty Gingerbread...

I want to give 1 of these to my sister. That's why I bought the X5 today.

anyone had this prob b4? yest my phone battery ran flat, so i recharge and turn it on, after i turn it on, it prompt me for google login, like how you turn on your phone for the 1st time, then most of my apps are crashing, launcher pro, switchpro, handcent and etc, and i'm forced to reinstall everything, the worst case is, my contacts all gone and when i attempt to sync from google, ntg , still empty -.-

owh, btw, its on stock rom

not stock rom lar...i using b137 and rooted also, nowadays when i restart my phone also fresh screen need to reconfigure everything. Luckily got CWM and reload everything back. Don't know what is the reason though.

Guess I'll just not reboot my phone if possible.

Another advice, Opera doesn't support flash and its slower. I prefer Dolphin HD browser.

howdy guys...im trying to flash new custom roms for my bro's X5...can recommend custom roms with less bugs,smoother and more stable?
i'll definitely go for cm7 or miui if they are stable enough XD

the performance was awesome!~ haha! i juz bought it last thursday...better than samsung galaxy ace twice XD. the performance is smooth and fast, most of the device (less than 1ghz processors) play HD games or higher graphic game like angry bird rio will lag, but i play alot games also smooth!~
and i not yet root my lovely x5, use with original software only, not yet overclock. for me, the touch sensitivity is very nice, nvr feel like press=no press. XD camera is so so la...not bad not good, middle range lor, my call quality is nice,but i heard some says call quality not nice, maybe depends on device gua. so far...everything is work perfectly for me.^^ fast enough, smooth enough, stable enough. i think if i overclock it, sure can fly XD oh ya, the graphic is awesome~ clear enough~ speaker for me is very nice ady. haha~ i can watch any types of videos as well. very clear~ it's like my little LED tv~ XD
now im using online tv software watch movies somemore..hehe~ it's good to have it. a no-regret phone^^

Forgot to charge my phone and my phone seem to have reset itself. It brought me back to the Android welcome screen and most of my apps dont work anymore. Is this supposed to be a normal behavior?
