Hey bro....i dont see any different between
A43Sv, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M(1GB)@RM2349[2.44kg]
N43SL, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M@RM2699[2.4kg][Bang & Olufsen] *No USB3.0
besides their pattern...why N43SL is better?Sorry for noob question
*
well.. general consensus is N series better built quality than A series... duno is it true... but still we recommended cz it is sexier and bettr speakers if can afford.. if cant the A series is still a very viable option. ^^

Throttling if stress CPU and GPU at the same time..
But one user managed to solve the throttling and reduce its temp 18C on load by removing the filter on bottom plate..

i have 2 options HP G4-1007TX i3 second gen (2.1 ghz),500 gb, 2gb ram, ATI radeon HD 6470 3D with 3 years warranty = RM 1948

another option

HP G42-458 TX, i5 processor 480m (2.66ghz turbo boost), 2gb RAM, 640GB HDD, ATI Radeon HD 6370 3D, 3 years warranty = RM 1999
which one is better for data processing?
*
data processing. takes cpu power eh... erm... if the i5 is 2nd gen then it wuld be obvious choice but now... hmm... im leaning towards i3 2nd gen....

wait sifu clarify which better. lolx....

QUOTE(jaaroquai @ Jul 20 2011, 07:23 PM)
many thanks ivan. but still the price is around the border of 1.5k. looking for something cheaper as the usage is mainly for uni assignments and web browsing.

btw, whats the different between window starter and premium?
*
erm.. starter dun have windows aero dun hav media player those stuff lorh... a stripped down version of premium which we all normally use... haha.
still a fully functioning OS... but just nt as beautifull and some software sendiri cari loh. haha
