10.8.4 is the perfect spot for hackintosh and for some reason, 10.8.5 seems to be more of a laptop update. It somehow fixed the slow bluetooth connectivity on my MBP 13

Yes you can update directly from ML to Mavericks but you need to prepare a bootable USB stick for Mavericks (with the proper boot loader) in order to do so. Install over an existing OS X and you are done.
Update any drivers you need and everything will be normal again. |

QUOTE(cheng riu zhi @ Aug 31 2014, 08:51 AM) My YES go dongle couldn't work under Maverick 10.9.4 You should revert back to YES about this. Probably they have not updated the software kext to detect the dongle under 10.9+ OS.Few days ago Installed Maverick onto a desktop (with tools from tonymacx86.com) The YES GO software installed without any problem. but when plug in the Go dongle, the software couldn't detect the dongle. Used to use Go dongle in Mountain Lion and it work without any problem under Mountain Lion. |
