Hi guys.. Have been reading up alotsa information on this for the past 2 weeks while I try to 'hackintosh' my desktop.

Tried alotsa methods (basically using iATKOS L2, either putting it into DVD, thumbdrive, adjusting bios settings etc etc) but no luck . My desktop just won't boot into the installation menu.

I found one installation method using Kakewalk for my mainboard (Gigabyte H61M B3 S2P) but it seems that I need a Mac to create bootable disk.

Since I don't have a Mac (well thats the reason why I wanna hackintosh) begin with. I am thinking of running a VMWare but that doesnt seems very easy as well (need to get the retail version of Lion).

Just would like to check is there any other better solution for me to install OSX on my PC without a Mac?

I have really spent alot of time on searching but all the information are hard for me (a person totally new to hackintosh) to understand because everyone have their own method to get it working.

Well, in case if someone is still reading, I've succesfully ran Mac OS X Lion on my windows PC using VMware and have created the bootable USB using Unibeast.

Transmac doesnt work for me. Bottomline.. You really need a mac to perform hackintosh. If you don't have it, you can use VMware. As for the guides, there are plenty of video guides (regarding how to get Mac OS X on Vmware) on YouTube.

Identify your hardware (especially mainboard) and check whether has someone successfully installed hackintosh on it. If someone does, follow their method. Unibeast is the best currently (and probably most compatible with most PCs) but too bad you need a Mac to run it.

Just giving your model name as Inspiron 530 won't do you any good. Just try and google up "Inspiron 530" for yourself and see how varied the model's specs are.

Only one thing is for sure. Inspiron 530 belongs to a generation of computers that are at least 3 years behind times. If you're interested in a more current, 100% compatible system specs, you can PM me.
