darknite..i think ur statement is partially wrong..
the essential of success of using hackintosh is using nvidia graphic..as for myself, nvidia gc is really important..if im using ati gc, its quite a problematic for me..
so, i rather choose nvidia gpu instead of ati gpu..smile.gif
this situation may only apply for me alone..hehe..for others i dont really know..

Wiraone..this is my first try on retail disk..I got problem when its booting to apple logo..its become blank..doesn't show anything..like we monitor on standby..

Specs as below..
Core i3,gigabyte mobo,4gb ram,gtx 260..I think it got problem with the gc..bcoz its not pre-defined gc with its kext..but I'm not sure..
What's ur opinion?

sorry..forgot to mention..

im using iboot and snow leopard from an usb..
i stuck at booting into the preparing to installation part..the customization and those stuff.
the screen become blank..later i will try to snap some pics to show it..
wiraone..should i change the gc?or just proceed with this one..?

basically to start the boot in before this i have to type busratio=20


i might need a lil help here..please guide..
since i just managed to get a 8gb pendrive..i dont have SL disk.just image.

wiraone..i have succeeded installing Snow Leopard using usb method..
at this moment im having problem with bootloader..i tried to install from multibeast..but it doesnt works.
when it tries to load at apple logo it restarts..but when i try to use iboot, it can load like usual..hehe

now im looking for chameleon v2.0 rc5 r748 like the same one in iboot loader.

ooo..thats why..i have been using the old multibease..hahaha..ptt la..
then, i want to try the latest multibeast..

one more issue is that, after i update the version 10.6.6, the Q/E is gone..no more translucent on my apple bar menu..how to solve this too?

Hello all..just wanna tell you guys..I have succeed installing SL with 10.6.8 update..also full acceleration of QE..many thanks to all especially Wiraone and Digswell..

its quite troublesome to those make a dual booting hdd. i had experienced this before..either one OS will become not active.
not active means you cant boot in unless you make that particular os partition become active..

this is on my side happened before.
