Is it possible to fresh install Mac OS X Lion on a PC without a Mac? Because I don't know where to buy Lion other than Mac App Store.

QUOTE(vip @ Aug 1 2011, 04:40 PM) yup. is possible to install OSX on a normal PC and depend on ur pc spec as well that match to it. thats why this hackint0sh thread is here. I know I can install OSX on my pc. I meant where can I get Lion legally without a mac because as far as i know, we can only get it from Mac App Storefor the source of the OSX we cant discuss on here due to privacy. I've burned Lion into USB thumbdrive, managed to boot up using USB, but im stuck with the installation part. It doesnt let me install to the partition because my harddisk is using MBR, but it requires GUID Partition Table. Is there any way to install lion into a MBR partition harddisk?

QUOTE(wiraone @ Aug 6 2011, 05:48 AM) Is this a fresh HD? If yes, why don't you go ahead creating a GUID partition table. If you want to install Win7 later on, you can always create an NTFS (or FAT32) partition using diskutility first before booting up Win7 installer. The problem is I already have Windows installed on the HD and there are many important files on it. I think the only solution now is to buy a new HD |

My motherboard is GA-EX58-UD5, i successfully installed Lion, everything running perfectly(after hours of fixing), but I still can't get one thing to work, Sound. I tried different kexts but none of them work. Anyone using the similar motherboard as mine can get the sound works?
