iinm quo is based on gigabyte board also right?

yes you are correct. gigabyte is in fact their supplier. what interest me is the out-of-the-box experience..which reduces the hardware mismatch when you install osx. been putting off to build up a hackintosh due to this very reason..something easy like plug n play..it just works.. biggrin.gif

I think becoz macs are getting cheaper now. A lot of people paid heed to their common senses to just buy macs and spare the KP horror of making hackintosh.

I mean for less than 3K you can sit in style at starbuck with a beautiful and very thin laptop flashing that glowing apple logo to everyone (read: 11" mba). It's a headturner. Now try with thin samsung / lenovo ultrabook which are way too expensive for the same attention. (try bring wifi dongle too if you successfully hackintoshed it)

Similar goes to a powerful i7 desktop with gorgeous display, wireless keyboard and mouse that have no problem to match your home furniture for around 5K or so. (read: iMac 21.5") Now calculate how much already you've spent (money & time) for that i7 hackintosh system (dont forget to include monitor, webcam, speakers, casing, mouse, keyboard that dont match for overall cost plus the OSX too-if you really legally bought it)
