any p8z68-v pro hackintosh user here? looking someone to share experience with DSDT, onboard bluetooth, USB 3.0 etcs. i have my hack up and running stable for more then 6 months alrdy.
whats working
-CPU (power management, turbo, all C states)
-GPU ( QE/CI, openGL, Cuda)
-sound (tried DSDT injection + lion 10.7.2 appleHDA with patcher and multibeast method, show no different 5.1 still cant work yet SPDIF passthrough work like charm)
-LAN(partially broken, sometime IP get stucked after router restart or something need restart to regain access to internet)

i am currently trying more advanced DSDT injection

=) actually i did a DSDT edit where i patched all the problems and updated the HDEF part and proc and some others parts and even injected the GC but it seem not much different compare to vanilla
as for bluetooth i tried the the method u mention few weeks ago! i can c bluetooth in my mac but i can't off it nor pair it with my iPhone.
anyway thank for suggestion =)

attemp to hackintosh on a laptop is way more difficult then on desktop, not to mention most of the time it need a complete DSDT edit with very advanced injection and patching.
and usually it turn out to be more hassle then the cost, so usually i prefer to get a macbook =)

anyway i m a macbook air 13" user here! highly recommend it

if u willing to trade/sell i do hav some extra AR9280 half mini or full size miniPCIE card available( work OOB in 10.7.2 without any mod str8 airport extreme with airdrop support)

for Nvidia, usually no kext needed for installation, default vesa standard will be used, and you can basically patch the kext after the installation to gain your QE/CI and native reso.

if you made a mkext cache, deleting a kext is basically useless, unless u know how to force loading kext on startup =). let me know if u need help.

you can restore it in any Machine or Apple reseller, which is a lots faster because they cached the image in their network server, or u can choose an expensive solution to your problem -> an airport extreme or a cheap solution, locate your image after u downloaded it in your mac app store, and then copy the ESD.dmg from it, and restore the ESD.dmg into a thumbdrive -> a bootable OSX image
