ops no?

ah i thought the definition of hackintosh = vmware running mac..  doh.gif

*
hackintosh in normal layman words = you lie kaw kaw to the Mac OS, causing it to believe that the OS is being installed on an Apple hardware ! Where else you have medalled with the hardware and tweaked it to be able to receive the Mac OS.

thanks man.. really kemaluan besar..

btw i checked my PC spec:

i7 2600k

4x4 GB Dual Channel 1600 Corsair Vengence ram

2x2 GB Dual Channel 1600 Corsair Vengence ram

Asus GTX 460 Top 1 GB DDR5

Kingston V300 128 GB SSD

And a couple more 3.5" HDD

is the system capable of running the latest OS X?

I tried google but none mentioned about my mobo..  sweat.gif

ok...first is first...u need to change this ".. really kemaluan besar.." it means "really BIG D*CK" we are not interested in it biggrin.gif

What is Hackintosh: http://hackintosh.zone/page/hackintosh/art...-and-noobs-r43/

Dude the secret to a easy and speedy build of a Hackintosh is to get the compatible hardwares and then going forward with the build..

I dnt see your Mobo details though, maybe I've gone blind... Anyway, building on a Mobo which is not compatible will only add more hair splits to your attempt, which may result in a result which you will be cursing Hackintoshes...

So instead of trying to use the mono you have, get a mobo which is compatible, because even if you succeed to build it in a mobo, which is not commonly built upon...you are going to have a shitty time to get the relevant drivers, updates and other compatible hardwares to suit your mono.

In other words you are goin to be all alone in a universe which does not have solutions for the errors and issues arise.

Have you checked out TonyMacx...when i was about to build my hack, that is where the TS (wiraone) pointed me to. They have all the detail you need and also the suitable hardwares to get.

Compatibility guide : http://www.tonymacx86.com/building-customa...nuary-2015.html

Installation guide :http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop...l-based-pc.html

There is more guides and tutorials therein to help you, if still have issues, post in the forum there....but dot expect an immediate reply !!

However there are are sites as well...which the forummers are much helpful or you can post here. Certain sites have certain prefernces in building the hack, some HATE the Unibeast and Multibeast method, but its easy to build with it.

If you ask me...your VM ware is also a hack...its just that it has become a culture that a Hackintosh must be built on an ample hardware ! its one own view.

I am now posting with the aid of my Hackintosh.... its an old spec, but I luv it.... cheers..

Thanks for the tip. Although my friend just ask me to install on my current PC but I doubt it would be smooth with all the parts not the same.

Currently still sourcing for parts but I think the minimum to build a CustoMac is about 3.5K. Still budgeting it out.

U are welcome. Its good that you have decided to go for a good spec of up todate hardware. I just bulit mine with the existing hardwares from different rigs and put it together in a Cooler Master 690 ....

Take a look at this https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...8&hl=Hackintosh
The guy obtained decent hardwares ...at that time!

I have 2 disks in my hackintosh - 60GB SSD which is my boot drive, and the clean 1TB HDD.

I noticed when installing an application I got this "You can only install this software on the disk that is running os x"
Can anyone help me understand? Is it not possible to put applications anywhere except on the boot partition?
