A Gifted Man my kind of drama. not anything special, will follow it..

Terra Nova just OK, considering the hype.. will follow it though..

Ringer just OK. nothing special but ill follow it..

Dexter S6 quite a low key.. a new creepier serial killer, and same old Dexter. still in among my top 3 series.

The Office S8 expired series.

The Big Bang Theory S5 not a good start. but still a cracking show..

Rising Hope S2 like it so far..

Modern Family S3 will probably drop it. dont like it.

Once Upon A Time 1 set of characters, living in 2 worlds (modern and fairy tales world). the modern world characters didnt know they're fairy tales characters (like Snow White, Prince Charming etc) and trap in 1 small town called Maine and time is standing still. only 1 boy realize the truth and need to bring back his biological mother to save the fairy tales world..

honestly, i did not expecting much at first. but it turned to be really entertaining.. 1 for family view.. very nice..

Once Upon A Time vs Grimm

these 2 draw a comparison because they start airing in same weeks, basically a same theme. basically both bring the mythical characters into our world.

Grimm are more bloodier, darker.. but very formula -tic. new one creature appear per episode, this small town really full of weird creature.. True Blood with poor /small packaging and lack of hot girls..

Once Upon A Time more feel -good drama, one for the family viewing.. going back on forth to past and future make the series bit interesting..

both a below my expectation, i think i gonna drop Grimm, but give Once Upon A Time more chance..

House Of Lies - new tv show on Showtime. Don Cheadle plays a management consultant at a top firm. Showtime is the same channel that Californication is on, so you should know what to expect smile.gif

Highly recommended

House Of Lies

meh..

watched the pilot. they're trying to be smart comedy or something. either that im not understand it (talking about management yada yada) or it simply not funny..

nudity doesnt help much.. will definitely drop it..

The Firm

ive seen numbers of better law drama. but i still think i like this one. the background case /conspiracy are the one to follow, side cases are just okay (after 3 episodes). will follow..

Alcatraz

the mysterious aura of Alcatraz inmates and guards disappearance are very interesting, but overall im still not convince on how they build up from there (after 2 episodes). will follow, might drop it later..

Shameless S2

not much different from the last season, just okay.. not significant progress to the story (after 2 episodes). definitely will follow..

The River the pilot are quite boring, but the next 2 episodes making me want more.. quite refreshing.. horror + mockumentary..

Mad Dogs S2. lacks of funny moments /punchlines. maybe the characters are beginning to accustom to breaking a law, over and over again. still, great to thing to watch. shame it just another 4 episodes.

Bomb Girls (Canada) i thought its OK. nothing spectacular.. story evolved around girls working at bomb factory during WW2.

why nobody mention Awake???

Awake

i think the pilot are very OK, have potential, and this is my type of series.. demand a little concentration. which is which, 2 set of alternate realities, etc.

but i dont think they should make it as a long run of series.. one sole season are enough.

The 2 set of alternate realities is a very good concept but why on earth the lead character must be a cop. (Isn't there a show called Fringe with the same concept!)
The crimes of the week in the pilot are very weak, the kidnapper and the cabbie killer did not have a convincing motive to do the crime.
IMO, it would be more interesting if this is not a cop show with the twist!

im currently catching up with Fringe (im on S03E06).. Fringe story are big, saving the world, science beyond imagination, etc..

Awake scope are limited, focus on ordinary detective, a family, etc. i dont have a problem with cop story. the criminal /crime may look lame, but it still an early days.

i just hope they not dragging this to long seasons (the plan are 13 episode), 1 season are enough..

Missing its good. woman version (but lame version) of Bourne (Matt Damon) and Taken (Liam Neeson)

ex CIA agent running around Europe (Rome, Paris etc) tracing his teenage boy who've been kidnapped. the CIA also tracking her, suspected she probably working for other side.
