The flash crowd that turned up to boo Najib’s event at Mansion House (the official residence of the City of London’s Mayor) was larger than yesterday’s outside Downing Street.  They had been joined by Amnesty International, who have spoken out about the treatment of the Bersih demonstrators at the weekend.  Amnesty commands considerable respect in the UK.

The Malaysian PM had come to court the City’s investors and it was embarrassing.  Investors do not like countries with uncertain human rights records and an unhappy middle class.

Few non-Malaysians turned up in the end, but some of the investors who did went and chatted first to the crowd of protesters outside.  One, who described himself as ‘working for a global investment company’, said that he was well aware of the human rights issues in Malaysia and confirmed that his company monitors the matter and that such issues are of concern.

last time gahmen did do this solat hajat besar besaran about what something, time Iraq kena serang tu ke apa ataupun time earthquake tu apa. Tak ingat. Boleh je if nak buat kan? kan? Gohmen ada kuasa, why not use the kuasa to do something good, kan kan kan? Lagipun solat jemaah lebih digalakkan, especially at masjid, rumah Allah, right?

Oh okaaay. Then we do ceramah story2 about kewajipan rakyat berdoa supaya pemimpinnya mengikut jalan Allah yang sebenar. We do ceramah about how pemimpin should be role model for rakyat. Can story2 also about how a lot of muslims bermaksiat here and there all, suka suki masuk kelab, berparti pesta, and how carnival2 concert2 bring kemudaratan dari segi akhlak all, masyaallah, isk isk. Can solat hajat supaya our pemimpin lebih ke jalan Allah dan bukan ke jalan Barat/kepentingan duniawi + ceramah, double bonus wor, menyampaikan ilmu kepada umat islam.

Islam x mengajaq perkara2 zalim. balik pada asas. bkn nak kata hadis mengajar kita menjadi zalim, tidak. tapi Ustaz ak penah ckp, jgn menjadikan diri kamu itu sebagai dalil walhal kalau kamu itu tidak pasti sbenar2nya keadaan kamu itu seperti dimana penggunaan dalil itu dibenarkan. nak jadi pemimpin zalim kena ada kriteria bro, adakah Najib tuh penoh kriteria2 tuh? hanya allah yg tau, so org islam lebey baik mendoakan yg terbaik utk org islam. pyh lar kalau asas islam pon tak tau.
