That's is another way to go. But you should check if you could change the Astro channels from the remote TV. On some Astro decoders, there is some problem with the IR. This problem occurs for certain decoders. While for some decoders models, it will work flawless.

The AV Wireless transmission can do 1080p? last year review in a magazine is still limit to 720 and is not cheap too. And line of sight is very critical of the quality too.

You need your Astro decoder and dish. This where you will receive your Astro transmission.
The wireless AV transmitter is basically transmitting the signal from the Astro decoder to a 2nd TV located some where else (within say 100m or less)

Internet price about 220 USD for the asus WHDI maybe around 600 to 1k here. Lelong got people selling around 800 for difference brand.

For me it won't be useful yet. But good to know such things are available. Someone should buy and test with AVR smile.gif

You could look up here

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1446643

there are a few other guys selling this as well.

Basically you are supposed to be able to change the channels by pointing the remote to the AV transmitter connected to your remote TV.
However, this may not work for certain Astro decoders sad.gif
