Just never ever leave the printer bare without cartrtridges installed.

wrap the CISS cartridges with a generous, multiple layer of microwave wrapper.

MAKE SURE ITS AIR TIGHT!!!!!!!!.

and never leave the printer without carts. it may make the printer EOL.

I think he means to keep used cartridges air tight. This is to ensure that the ink outlet holes do not clog up with dry ink.

Admitingly I'm to lazy to wrap mine up. I just scotch tape the ink outlets and put my cartridges in a air tight jar tongue.gif

Bro Yew, do you have the PC Fair price list of Epson AIO?

Do you think there is a noticable difference between 1pl and 2pl in borderless A4 printing?

Yes, it is. However, I think you should read the article posted by him in the previous page. There is a link which goes to the article. smile.gif

Are u refering to the PG40/CL41 article?

The IP4200 uses CLI8B,Y,M,C & PGI5Bk or am i missing something here? Was there already an article for the 4200?

I haven't seen it in the papers yet.. If it do, i'll definately post it hear as usual.

I print full A4 photo using my C65 is good for me. I suggest that you get the sales person to DEMO for you, as it must meet your levels of expectation. The output needs to satisfy your needs mah.

Opps, belum publish lagi... IP4200 is available, BUT has minor DYI requirement. IP4200 required the Original CHIP to be implanted on the ezCISS for it to work!

bro, what Mr. LKM means is that canon printers are very mafan (leceh) when it comes to CISS. this is because now their carts all comes with chips. that's why you see he is looking for a epson printer.

btw i agree with him. think twice before you buy a canon printer. icon_rolleyes.gif
