I got a problem installing the ink cartridges into my DCP-165C.
I followed the instructions very closely but after inserting the last cartridge - mageneta, the led still flashing :

No Cartridge. Open ink cartridge cover, then reinstall ink cartridge.

I can't see where I went wrong as

* I have all ink cartridges inserted in order ( Black, Yellow, Cyan and Magneta )
* The air filters have been palced into all 4 ventilation hole

and I have have been repeating the same process but still got the same answer.

Hi. I know this was asked the last time but the reply wasn't public. I've got an old mp390. Can it also be converted to use CISS?

I know it is already obsolete but hey..its still usable just that it is very annoying to refill because the stupid black ink cartridge is so small.

As per HERE, NATURALLY the cartridge will die off, it's purposely built that way. Eventually you will see "E5" error on the printer. When will it happen? - it's luck.. some in 1 month, some in 3 months, some longer. Best we can do is to extend it's life as long as possible to save on cartridge cost.
