wonder if DEfy+ battery can use in Defy? i think pin lay out is same!

Confirm can. I was in Sunway and asked them to put Defy + batteries into Defy and it fits perfectly. Unfortunately after calling his boss, they didn't want to sell the battery to me.

A very happy and prosperous new year fellow Defyans. Just came back from my Christmas balik kampung in Sabah and it was awesome. I used my Defy under the rain and even bring it to do some sweaty palm oil harvesting at my dads orchard and it survived! Love my Defy..

Anyways, Iv'e been reading about the WajkIUI ROM thingy and it seems to be good in battery life. I'm currently on Cm7.

So.... meaning installing the WajkIUI is as simply as doing the Install Zip from SD Card under recovery?

..And currently which version would you recommend?

Cool.

Hmm there are two options One is Stable Version another is ICS Version. How do I choose the ones best for me?

yup. very nice compare to cm7,
latest one here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161110

as for apps. u can try backup using titanium ( but not 100% useable.. coz MIUI dun really like titanium backup i think.)
sms i suggest backup using GO SMS.

start from fresh is highly recommended ( mean wipe data also..)

I have been trying out the wajkiui 2.1.20. From a long time user of CM7 I must say this is quite a good ROM. But one thing is really getting to me. I can't seem to install the Google Navigation enabled maps like I used to when I was using the CM7 ROMS.

Anyone can point me to the right path?

Cheers!

I read somewhere in CM7 official site saying that currently it's only working for Motorola Defy and not Defy+

That may be the issue?
