My friend have this phone, and when he brings into water(of course with all those USB, 3.5mm earphone hole, etc closed).
The water killed his phone. But, the phone is said to be water proof.

He tried to claim Warranty from the shop he purchased it.
But, then, the shop doesn't allow it.

Anyone volunteer to be Thread Starer for V4 ?

for me this phone really water proof. tested with my unit and my wife unit. ( take video and apply screen protector under water )

but we need to know its limit. not more than 1 meter and not more than 30 min.

and i'm not so sure my USB cover function properly after 1 year of usage.. so I don't bring my phone into water anymore. But raining, clean the screen with tap water, take video under water with only the camera part .. i still do that.

I think I'll tell him to send it to Motorola HQ straight and claim the warranty. LOL. Hope they won't found out it's dead due to water.

Let's meet up middle of this year

my phone dropped. TWICE! First time got spots but after a few days, ok back oredi. now this time 2nd time drop, jialat. 1 week already, still I got a map of italy on my screen..... i think it is in permanent damage mode liao.

but my phone got no issues with water in my bathroom as well as the last time (many many months ago) i dipped it into water in a waterfall. hahaha.... still worked like a charm.

Aiyo then it's worse than normal phone..I thought this phone has shock/impact proof?
