Wow, Thanks for all the good Info man, then i think i should not do anything until my warranty over lah. maybe also save 10k for the R# package loh.

ok thanks much to all the sifu ya

u can mod but just dun start wit ECU first if u really want some kick! that rm10k package from R3 is worth it cos it remains ur warranty validity but yeah...the same amount of output is much cheaper outside...

stock standard + good handling car = fun to drive...seriously...after i "master" the car...then only i need more power...hehehe

RM 10K n u think its worth it... rclxub.gif the amount of power vs the amount u spent, think again! N do u noe wat r the stuffs included in the R3 package... 1 stupid carbon fibre cover for ur air filter wic cost around 1K+, carbon fibre sticker for ur door trim and handle wic cost around 400 bucks.. performance improvement = 0, money spent close to 1.5K whistling.gif

Previously there was one guy told me, if wana mod forget bout warranty n if want warranty forget bout performance!

R3 ECU is nt the same as our CPS ECU and its nt worh spending 1K+ just for the ECU, piggyback wil b a better option but warranty bye bye!

Previously in the old thread there was 1 guy who came out wif the comparison chart between CPS R3 n normal CPS, n the results... there wasn't much difference from dyno results between these 2, so y spending so much by paying R3 guyz...

Thumb rule, if wana mod forget bout warranty n if want warranty forget bout modding unless gt a lot of money to buy R3 stuffs!

rm10k for the package i think its worth it...well it just an opinion...thats y in my post that u quote i said the same amount output is cheaper outside...

R3 CPS ECU is not the same wit CPS ECU? i read somewhere its only revised fuel map and concentrate on performance...

unless u change the ECU to clubsport a.k.a in lotus racingR3

Wen I spoke to the R3 Chief Eng. he told me the current CPS ECU is nt tat flexible n nt much can b done n its dumb ECU wic is very simple.. n even he told me nt too waste money getting the R3 package... He suggested some stuff to me tat I should look at and 1 of it was Evo 7 disc n braking system n also for handling.. bf4 thinking bout getting turbo or other mod to engine..

The only advice he gave me was push ur car wif ur std ECU, shift gear at 6500 rpm as much as can after ur 1K service.. Let ur ECU picks up ur driving style n then the car should b faster..

ive tried that style before...i end up wit an appointment tomorrow wit proton engineer at CoSE...my idle RPM is going up n down 1k-2-2.8k...

but its true...train the ECU to adapt ur drving style...its applied to all proton cars

if you can afford, go for standalone ECU, you can do much more with it, and even convert from drive by wire to drive by cable as told by my tuner.
