i have the same issue last week. Just iron it from the inside out. level of hotness on iron is "2 dots". Instead of iron it straight on the jersey, i add additional piece of "kitchen towel" (the one used to suck oil for deep fried food).
*
yup dasoulz is rigt. Iron on the numbers direct, with probably a cloth or a tracing paper just in case. After that, flip the shirt over and then re-iron the back portion as well. it will look spanking new.

and yes, 2 dots max.

just received new MU kit from kitbagasia and they wrote 'gift : shirt with value of 5 dollars' on the commercial invoice
can we escape kastam (buy several shirts) with kitbag asia?
*
bro, to be accurate, not recommended to use the words "escape" customs as it is illegal to do so.

The limit is RM500 and as long as adhere to that its ok. Difference is the method of calculation adopted by different freight forwarders ie DHL(KBA) v UPS (KB) for example. In answer to your question, so far, KBA/ DHL will not charge the high price for the courier charge unlike EPS / KB.

MYKITZONE  Same tokei?
*
Yup mate, same taukehs ;P

Thanks Plokoon for the reco smile.gif

OT: Small advert here - on behalf of MKZ, would like to thank everyone for the kind support to MKZ and to us personally in the past. Still remember when I first joined this forum adn subsequently MyFJC back in 07/08. Found out there are other people just like me who is crazy into this hobby. And through sharing and caring of members, and guidance from otai like aw13, faiz, wongkwp, and tonnes more, i have learnt alot and grown alot in this hobby.

Now me and my mates are taking out passion and hobby into the next level and to realise our dream of having our own jersey shop. For those not in the know, MyKitZone has officially opened in Tropicana City Mall, Level 1-43 (next to Crocs) on 16.7.2011. This is a humble start and hopefully with time and with support MKZ will be able to offer more varieties / hoices and more competitive prices for jerseys and NNs in the future. We would also like to take this opportunity to further promote the hobby amongst members of the public.

So next time if anyone is looking for jerseys or printing services, or just for casual jersy-chat, do drop us a visit k:)

PS: also do find us in FB and add us ya!

wow... rm53 include shipping fee is very cheap.....

Sad for me.. i bought it quite expensive... sad.gif
*
Reds bought it overseas, where shirts can get as low as GBP 5 - 10 during sales smile.gif

No need to be sad or anything. There is no competition for being able to get the cheapest or most expensive kit etc. I always believe in some small amount of fate when it comes to collecting. Some people keep waiting and waiting for kits to drop price until wallah, one day it dissappears and cant be found anymore without paying a super high price. Etc.

So as long as u r supporting your team and getting genuine kits, no need to worry much whether you got the cheapest deal anot smile.gif

Anyone know where I can get Arsenal Asia Tour patch and also perhaps custom Chinese word for the name like Arsenal used during their match at China?
*
I do not think there are any commercial versions released for such badges and chinese letterings here. Only chance to get the real one would be to get a match issued / worn shirt of that game. I am sure HK ebayers would come out with the letters in no time though.

Not sure if uncle james at Qline can do Chinese letterings with his machine, you can call him at the number on 1st page and enquire.

Bro the seller can use whatever word he chooses, u have to ask him specifically what is it n ask for tags n pics etc.

In the normal language, vintage would mean same thing ad retro la. E remake can call repro n it's not the same.

So contact the seller direct would be the best solution

hi guys,

need some advise. is buying online from kitbag reliable. is the jerseys authentic because its way cheaper compared to marke price.
*
Kitbag runs the offical online stores for the likes of Chelsea and MU. That says it all.

And please read the thread and the previos thread on the issues of tax charged on Kitbag purchases.

Prices are cheaper there cos of currency and also taxes and also profit margins obviously smile.gif And i wont say prices are "way" cheaper - cheaper yes. Unless you are referring to the sales section which is becos they are clearing excess stocks which are mostly not so common sizes.

the jersey that i was looking at was liv new away kit (black), the original price is at 39.99 pounds but after discount its 33.33 pounds. So tats around RM160 wit free postage if u buy more then 50pounds. in adidas store here its RM260 so its RM100 cheaper. good deal rite.
*
yup good deal, as mentioned by pyro just be aware of potential risk of parcel lost if you are using royal mail as it has no tracking code. But yeah if lost KB will replace you, but there will be the hassle of waiting again lo smile.gif

Having said that i myself used to be a big KB fan until the tax put me off la. Enjoy mate, YNWA!

penang is exempted from tax?
*
If I recall correctly, it may have something to do with the port of entry.

Maybe you can share with us if your parcel goes through KLIA as well? Or direct to Penang airport?

There could be a difference in the port of entry as taxes are exempted from certain ports.

Any ideas how to check the current location of item if sent by Royal Mail while in Malaysia?
*
normal or international signed for? the former cant be tracked. the latter u can call sepang KLIA post office and give them the UK track number. they will then give u the local track number for u to track which u can do on pos malaysia's website.

ex24dec02, i don't think there's different on the sizing label, becuz i checked with liverpool official store, they just don't have the 15/16 years's size (13/14 years is junior L, 15/16 years is junior XL)
keanzteoh, i checked, 13/14 years is junior L. the largest junior size is XL. but like i said, they don't have junior XL over europe, (back to my post) that is why i was wondering and looking for answer on the forum.
*
While i have to qualify that i have not checked the LFC store website, I can only reiterate what others have said ie reputable stores like ALI and R1 etc get their stocks from authourised distributors etc and no fakes will be sold there. What is not on LFC website does not mean it it fake. LFC issues licenses authourising different parties around the world to manufacture licensed products, and alot of these are regional / territorial in nature ie different items sold in different countries only, and in different languages etc.

Another explanation could be that the shirt is simply sold out on the LFC website.

anyway if u r still unsure u can post pics of washing tags etc for all to verify here.

CFS is trusted no worries. But I would advice on only bnwt items, as others condition really depends on luck.

90 pounds is about rm450 so it's a bit borderline of tax/no tax by customs
*
99% Confirm taxed. Now the postage by Kitbag is a fixed rm280+ so one only has 220 left of purchase, so that's the safe threshold for the moment. Unless it is sent to Penang where we know that's not the case.
Good news is the tax now is 10% (add on admin fee of UPS) instead of the previous 30%

I saw the jerseyman posted about it a while ago, didn't really noticed it.
So Kitbag UK are doing this for UPS delivery..hmm....like that won't be much difference if buying at retail.

I have bought 2 kits from chelseamegastore early July but as I read, it's not impacted since they are using DHL. Is that the case?
*
as far as im aware DHL doesnt adopt that calculation. So far only UPS.

And from a fellow forummer here, appears if delivered to Penang, also wont kena. All other cases the result is about the same. Then again you never know KB may change again their practice.

normal postage unlikely, but that doesnt mean wont kena. Just that normal postage, there is no requirement to declare shipping information etc and customs unlikely to check unless there is a dead giveaway from the appearance of the parcel alone. So far not heard anyone using normal post being taxed, CMIIAW.

Anyway, as we all know, normal mail is without tracking and chances of shirt missing is always there. Some shirts are one off and there may not be ready replacement if the original shirt is lost.

i'm wondering why is the jersey have this extra tag but other no.
*
bro,

1. please refrain from double posting. If someone knows the answer or is able to help, he or she will do so.

2. at times there are no straight forward answers. i just feel that you have bought an item from an authentic Adidas outlet, that itself is an indication of authenticity of the shirt, nothing to worry about. As for what is that tag, I am sure you can read the labels? Different batches of manufacture, different countries of production etc could affect minor differences in labelling / tags etc. I am not sure if we can give you any better answer than that. The proper person to ask would then be Adidas themselves. They can put in 2 tags, 4 tags, 9 tags all they want as it is their product, anf it is stil authentic. Im not trying to be sarcastic, but just pointing out that there really isnt any answer to that question in my opinion anyway.

just my 2 cents, i stand corrected.

PS: To Faiz in reading, perhaps FAQ can amend to include the UPS postage issue? No worries it is not illegal as there is no discussion on avoiding tax. It is just a reminderto interested purchasers to know the tax limit in planning their purchases. If not the question will be brought up again and again - i think in this thread alone half the messages are on the UPS tax issue tongue.gif

Cheers
