Here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/320748671381?ssPag...984.m1439.l2649

This seller sells the exact same patch, but since I'm in the US, shipping from UK to US is faster than Malaysia to US: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-World-Cup-2010...=item23124a893a

Am afraid it is likely to be DIY patches mate, based on the price and the fact that all the old patches he is selling comes without lextra covering. Of cos need to see touch and feel to be absolutely sure, but looking at the prices likely to be DIY / fakes.

Anyone bought jersey from Singapore before? I remember my dad used to buy some back and claiming it's cheaper after convert.

I check the following website, the price is indeed quite competitve. Anyone bought from this shop before?

http://weston.com.sg/index.php?route=produ...&product_id=124
*
if you had checked the first page you would have noted it is one of the recommended shops.

anyway buying from singapore is like buying from anywhere else, you may be able to get a good deal if the exchange rate is good and if items are not taxed.

its VERY normal for jerseys to be made in thailand, indonesia, vietnam n other asian countries these days because of the cheaper labour. even authentic Man Utd kits are made in indonesia. so don be puzzled that ur liverpool kits are not made in european countries.
*
well said. in fact very seldom you will find shirts made in europe (like the old ones in portugal, romania etc) nowadays apart from some PI kits IIANM.

ok..tq for the instant reply...but like subside, wiggysport also repro right?
so what's the difference between this and wiggy and the geng?
sorry very noob question...
*
There are official reproductions and there are unofficial reproductions. Boils down to your personal preference which you want to apply. The unofficial repros are not licensed by the owner of the original copyright of the fonts etc, so the namesets may differ slifhtly and material wise would also be different. Official repros from Wiggy etc are reproduced with license from Umbro for example and are thus authentic products. Subside has started reproducing their own unofficial repros just to satisfy the needs of those who want to complete their kits.

If you feel that you must complete your kits then you sometimes have no choice but to get the unofficial repros. This is down to personal preference. But of cos value wise this will have no value at all when it comes to reselling. Hence the problem. Alot of sellers resell claiming them to be authentic when in fact the nns are unofficial repros. This is the sad state we have to deal with as a consequence....

Hey guys, I just got a jersey from a seller on eBay. I'm suspecting that it's a fake.

Could you help with some of these things?

The tag that comes attached to the jersey, what does it read? The one I have says "ADIDAS JERSEY LEGENDBLU/SLIME BLEUCLAIR VERTFLUO"

Where is the jersey made? This one says "MADE IN THAILAND" :/

The tag on the neck says "04/11 P95890 APU002". And shouldn't this go by the washing tags?

Does anybody have up close pictures of the real jersey with these things?

EDIT:

I suspect it is fake because the badge is fake and has an imperfection in the sewing. The adidas paper tag is a replication of the real one. The adidas hologram is cheap and has a chunk missing.
*
Post pics of the tags etc and forummers would be able to comment on the same.

thanks guys

mate, they are different. cannot even start to compare. Some are huge and some are small. Fact remains there is only one size for each team's UCL NNs.

Yea i know, i get the fact that there is only one size for UCL NN's, but my concern is, are them as big as EPL lextra NN's?

Because if EPL lextra NN's are bigger, then i would get EPL lextra printed instead of UCL NN's. Hope you get my point  notworthy.gif
*
I have answered you. Unlike EPL NNs which are standardised for all teams in the EPL, in Europen competitions, different teams have different UCL / European NNs. Some team's UCL / European NNs are smaller than the EPL NNs, some are almost the same and some slightly bigger. And as pointed out by damnself above, different season the UCL / European NNs will normally be different too. Unless you are talking about a specific team for a specific season then you have to say which one then let those who have the shirt make the comparison if they wish to.

And my advice is not to use size as a factor - normally if you wear your shirts often, go for EPL sencilia nns - more durable and large, easier to maintain as well. Go for UCL only if you want that as part of your collection, or maybe even for the preference of the design etc. Cos PU normally not as durable as sencilia NNs. Just my 2 cents smile.gif

like what halu_cf said, there is no third class. Its either original or fake.

rm180+ would likely be price of shirts purchased online from clubstores, ebay, kitbag etc which are originals. Price cheaper due to non-tax, exchange rate and non-profit by middle men etc.

For those obtained from local distributors or other direct sources, normally would be sold at RRP of RM259 as pointed out by pyr due to cost factor etc. These are also originals.

No "boutique quality" shirts exist as a another source of original replicas. It has to be either one of the above.

The exception is second hand shirts sold by individuals which they are entitled to sell at any price they like, even at loss etc.

boutique quality? Neva heard of it. I only know at al-ikhsan there's only 2 version. Replica & knockdown version.

Correct me if im wrong
*
yup knock down is also original, meant to cater for fans who cannot afford the expensive replicas but who would like to support the club by buying an official shirt nontheless.

looking at his entry on the Real Madrid shirt http://www.mudah.my/Original+Real+Madrid+S...11-11900453.htm it says "$ 70.00" - and he is selling at what, RM120? either its a AAA, or if its original, it could be the price in SGD or USD 70.00. Sommore the replica RM shirts do not come with big LFP patch - it is standard replica sewn LFP patches for RM / barca replica shirts.

Few possibilities - pictures taken are original but goods sold are different. or the shirts are outright fake. I think the barcode tag is wrong too but i need to check to be 100% sure.

with that price i can say 99% fake. The only reason it could be original is the seller is selling at a loss (who would do that?) or they are stolen goods hence price can be low.

in any event, buy at ur own risk.

Finally i have something good enough to contribute to this thread smile.gif

I have been looking around and waited for a long time to find an original Terengganu jersey. They dont make it for mechandising so anything you find out there are obviously fake. Until one supplier manage to arrange something with the Indonesian manufacturer. i heard only 50 ordered so managing to get one is a blast. Quite dissapointed with the rather thin cheapish fabrics but at RM 50, i cannot complain much. The particular trimming that differs this jersey from fake ones are the black rubber collar (most fake jerseys dont have it) and the dotted mash on the back....

the only catch is... i found this jersey soo late... that there are possibility i cannot where it to the stadium this season..... Selangor is leading perak and we are leading Kelantan now so everything points to a Shah Alam debut for this jersey.... but its playing against Kelantan in Kota Baru what we are talking about so it will be very tense all the way...

here are some photos :-

hey wat do u guys think these "boutique jerseys"

http://list.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/List.as...d=&PriceUBound=

"Boutique Quality. Same as sell at AL-IK***N. Satisfaction Guarantee. Not Like Triple A Jersey compare to their Material, Patch, Printing, Colour , Barcode, Embroidery, Sewing  and Features same like Original jersey. A lot of different"

Wat is there to say. Fakes, whatever name u call them, are fakes.

The best part of this hobby is sourcing the cheapest you can get. But somehow on certain times, you succumb to the blood sucking seller nevertheless tongue.gif
*
blood sucking seller reporting! haha

joking la. yup everyone here is entitled to source for their best deals etc. Nowadays buying kits is so easy with internet, paypal etc. Back when i first started, no where at all you can get apart from those few shops, or the lucky ones who get to travel overseas can get them overseas too. Just buy within one's budget will dol dont go overboard. It is afterall just a hobby, like stamp collecting smile.gif

just bear in mind the market is a free market, sellers will be dictated by the market demand as well. Rare items normally would be more expensive, but since it is rare, grab it while got chance. Buy first think later. Cos Later you got money also cant buy. Look at PS Lextra NNs nowadays....

Hope everyone enjoy the hobby and continue to do so smile.gif

jerseys at Al Ikhsan are at RRP ie RM259.00.

They are 100% authentic.

Some off season kits may come at discounts, normally rm179 or 199.

Official Kick-off kits are cheaper, but original licensed products nonetheless.
