QUOTE(abuyon @ Jul 15 2011, 06:54 AM) is it necessary to buy jig?...i once stuck in samsung logo after start phone after install at cwm mode...then by using 3 button volume down + home+ power i can go back to download mode .....so our phone can use this 3 magic combo if the phone is brick right?? What IF the 3 buttons doesnt work after a flash ? Happens quite frequent in SGS-i9000 where a flashing or update broke the 3 buttons combo .... A JIG would certainly helped alot but if that also fails ..... Maybe a newly released apps/sw from XDA would help , One-Click Unbrick |

QUOTE(cosmiqeddie @ Jul 16 2011, 04:17 AM) is there a simplified list of all available ROMs (best if in comparison table), of their pro n cons, it might comes handy for all beginners without having to read through the heavy weight xdadeveloper sites Sadly , no ...... Everyone uses their phones differently in terms of what they have in it as in apps and how they use it .... My " best " rom might be your " worst " rom yet it doesnt make any 1 of us right , its just individual preferences . Try around till u feel 1 u like or if u r lazy , flash back to standard rom . Last I saw , KG2 is out for dl |

Is there anything i can do to improve GPS ? Setting ? Program ? Most of the time , is the car tint that is preventing GPS from locking or slow in the car . |

QUOTE(chitchat @ Jul 17 2011, 10:32 PM) Maybe, but u know i cant do anything about my car tint right ? so i looking for other solution to improve the gps locking, is Sygic Aura offline software ? It yes i would like to give it a try, since everyone say locking is fast. Easiest way to try to step out of your car and give it a lock , then go back inside and try 2 lock again ..... If u get a slower lock at the same location while in the car , chances r your tint ..... There is actually an alternative method . I am using such tint on my car and even Touch & Go cant b detected . What they do is the cut a line across the top of your windscreen and since most cars r now have shaded black part of the top part of the windscreen , it doesnt actually effect much on the heat yet it enable Touch & Go to be detected and also better receptions for GPS . |
