you are free, nobody has any right to stop you from your freedom of speech. However other malaysians have the same freedom.KL has what 2 million people? so who is protecting those guys if the crowd of 50k people just roam around as they please. Doin it in kl was for max media coverage, the pawns did their jobs, the real kingmakers happily laze in their hotels.
Police handled the situation rather well considering.
