I was nearby, managed to escape to a nearby church. A lot of people got caught in Tung Shin though and it was gassed nicely. Thankfully the rain reduced the impact of the gas.

i was there as well. mcm nak mati aku lari naik bukit spital tu...kena kejar kat polis. and I did saw polis arrest few people..we run after polis release the gas to disperse the crowd..followed by adegan main kejar2.

One of my friends went down to KL sentral. If you've been there you know to cross over to the monorail you have to walk down the stairs into a tunnel.

As soon as he walked down, FRU enclosed the tunnels on both sides, threw tear gas canisters, beat them and arrested them. He escaped as he managed to run up the stairs in time. But if you haven't breathed in tear gas before you don't know the amount of pain it can cause, they gassed everyone irregardless of who you are be it tourist, bypasser, children, etc.

Gassing people in a tunnel with nowhere to run and beating them after is bloody inhumane.
