1st service is at 15,000km but a lot of people do send their cars in for interval service outside from the official service centers.

Any change to the car which is other than stock will violate the warranty IF the service center is not good at communicating with VGM for warranty claims. There has been a case where a GTI's radiator was leaking and was denied warranty because he changed the exhaust tips, not the exhaust system but just those cool titanium tips which is just a simple screw on.

I just believe there is no such thing as a 100% guarantee that your warranty will not be void its just that it is always based on who handles your case. Otherwise, do like what Yan does, just swap it out before going in for service.
A lot of plug and play stuff for VW cars such as the players such as the RCD510 or the RNS510 and yes, and they can consider that a warranty void.
You can also join the VCM TT session on Friday nights, there are like 30 people there now on average for the TT session and you get to see a whole bunch of VW cars there smile.gif

You get all the programs for the normal price! Really good functionality is the security lockout!
Prices can range depending on where you go. RM450-RM600.

Plenty of shops in Sunway can do it as well, Hup Shun, or YR Auto in Kepong

Thanks for the info, bcoz I'm going to buy the rims soon, n thinking of paint on it. Will the paint "drop" easily?

By the way, got my golf TSI a month ago, still enjoying it.
