At this time, quite hard to find one. Best to call the usual suspects like FA Wagen, Wearnes, Veemer or Amcorp Auto. Confirm with them and book a test drive time (if they have one available). Friend just booked his unit and the SA told him to expect delivery in April 2012   

practicality wise, i felt the 1.4 was nicely done, ample power, suspension not too stiff

but i do find the turbo lag a bit uncomfortable... forgot how the GTI felt like since it was 2 years ago but it was different from the CC... the CC have this sudden burst of acceleration
maybe different tuning cos the CC have 3 modes, not sure about the GTI... the SA told me that the 3 mode button can even change the suspension setup, serious or not...
anyway, didn't have chance to test till that extent cos ferrying family members behind

drove the rocco 1.4 for a week already...much more 'sweet' and totally different experience compare to my previous ride (civic fd2) especially the handling and pick-up...plus its also quite a head-turner 

some small issue though..

- like from few previous comment, maybe issues on the low gear...quite difficult during traffic, need to familiarise and adapt myself...
- some squeaking sound from front left side when went over a hump or during turning (can only be heard when stereo turn off)

other than that all perfect

Isn't scirocco r was just launched this year?
And last time i asked even golf r is around rm300k so scirocco r must be higher than that

my previous tank was racing, only managed 450 with 1 bar to go

my last tank was 97, 470 with 2 more bars to go, i suppose 97 works better with my car

the best part is, when i was on 95 last time, although acceleration is low ya, but i can clock more than 530 with 2 bar to go

When you guys say "I speed at 180km/h or 200km/h" do you mean you were speeding at 180km/h non-stop for > 1 hour ( say, from KL to JB/Penang ) or just reach that speed for maybe 5 to 10 mins then go back down to maybe 130km/h the rest of the way.

Coz, I have not heard of anyone I know speed all the way for 1 to 3 hours until reach destination...If non-stop then fuuh, it is real adrenaline rush for a really long time. But dangerous ya.

Anyway, I had a lot of car speeding pass me at above 160km/h, so just wondered do these drivers really maintain at these speed throughout the journey.

Had a lot of myvi cucuk me as well...these P2s were really fast.

just that sometimes... those 1.4 or 2.0 vw makes me feel underpower sial

the storage space to carry 5-8 long stuff can be a prob
besides that everything good, then again i'm only at 6000km milage in 3 months

The passat 1.8 goNna b a failure in malaysia market at this price tag. Most would go for golf gti. At least I could mod it to stage 1 for more omphhh.
