can i install papago to ipad 2 and use it for free without 3g like ip4?

Yes, you can get the papago M8 and Sygic for iPad but you need to have iPad 3G as its comes with GPS.

So if I have Ipad Wifi only i cant use papago or sygic??

If you install BTstack GPS you can use nokia phone as external gps for navigation......
iPad wifi running BTstack GPS -----Bluetooth----> nokia symbian phone running extgps .

i think u all miss out something... i use the maps prog and i can locate myself... u hv to switch on location service....

location services use wifi on non 3g version so it not really accurate but on 3G version it use real time GPS satelite lock so more accurate

icic...no wonder my Sygic apps each time i open cant detect gps....

Use external bluetooth GPS

with 3G is because of Assisted GPS.. it locks faster....

Hmm I guess the apps wont be much use to me gua since my iPad just Wifi only....but only can serve as a map only and have to manually jalan lol based on the map

i have wifi only ipad and have no problem using GPS, even without thether it with my android, but new area in the maps are not downloaded (i'm using stock maps program)

I use tryoutgps + btstackgps + sygic. Works like a charm on my iPad 2 wifi

means we have to use wifi to track our location? wifi ipad useless lo?

So if ipad2 with 3G, need to plug in anything ie:sim card etc to activate location service? Or just stock ipad 2 n download papago can use dy?
