Hey guys, I planning to get the following system :
-Acer Aspire 5560G powered by AMD Llano A8 processor
-OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 120GB Max IOPS Sata 3 SSD(Heard A60m and A8 can run Sata 3 full speed)
-Corsair Vengence 2X4GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10 Laptop Memory(not sure compatible with A8 processor or not, cause the person that sold this ram said only for i5/i7/i7 Xtreme)...

Purpose of use, both gaming and working, aim to be fastest budget gaming laptop that beat the hell off my friend's Alienware M15x laptop(Normal specs)...

is it good??

Specs wise, among HP G4, Asus A43TA and Acer 5560G, Acer beats hand down, downside for 5560G is no USB3.0(Only available on A70m Chipset and build quality)
HP G4 good at Speaker, while Asus good at build quality and uses A70m chipset....still worth for bucks, and also the most expensive A-series AMD APU processor is Acer 5560G which cost RM2099....

Any system with SSD is good (as long as it can deliver 250++ MB/s of bandwidth).

Llano A8-3500 only support DDR3-1333.
I don't think you need 1866@CL9. It can't run 1866 anyway.
Just get 1333@CL7 will do.

huh?? but wiki mentioned can support up to 1600
