it seems the director at palermo is really good at marketing..almost everday we would hear something from him... and thus pastore that was little unknown became media attention now...thus driving his market value price even further...

from what i see, it can be an advantage-disadvantage situation...

if we sign him for lets say 40+ mil pound... that would indirectly take all the focus and media attention from torress to perform...so that torres could take his time and slowly recapture his form...and tje pressure will be on the new pastore boy instead....

the disadvantage is dat we probably gonna wasted an overspent money buying inflated price player and he will fail to justify his trsfr fee again...

Nicolas Anelka, Daniel Sturridge and Florent Malouda will lead the Chelsea attack.

Josh McEachran has been handed an attacking midfield role alongside Frank Lampard with John Mikel Obi holding.

There is a first sight this season of Yury Zhirkov at left back and Alex returns to the bench after injury.

Chelsea will line-up in the following 4-3-3 formation:

1 Petr Cech
17 Jose Bosingwa
2 Branislav Ivanovic
26 John Terry ©
18 Yury Zhirkov
8 Frank Lampard
12 John Mikel Obi
46 Josh McEachran
23 Daniel Sturridge
39 Nicolas Anelka
15 Florent Malouda

Subs: 40 Hilario, 19 Paulo Ferreira, 33 Alex, 62 Nathaniel Chalobah, 63 Slobodan Rajkovic, 3 Ashley Cole, 38 Patrick van Aanholt, 47 Billy Clifford, 10 Yossi Benayoun, 21 Salomon Kalou, 9 Fernando Torres, 11 Didier Drogba.

McEachran is really good now. Only Alex seems a bit off this game but maybe because this is his 1st preseason game

Aston Villa's strategy was to sit back and defend all the way? Well...torres ison the score sheet and he seems more confident now. brows.gif
