QUOTE(Nabeyl @ Aug 21 2011, 02:57 AM) eh torres was decent though. he just need a little bit of luck, he gets better and better on every game. get rid of Lampard, then you'll get the best of Torres. i hope next week our attacking will be like this, malouda + torres + anelka When Lampard in the midfield he can't supply ball to Torres. when Torres out, he's back with all the one two, flick & late run on the box. so it's not either Drogba/ Torres. it's either Lampard or Torres. ^kazek,
it's better we drop him while he's on top/ peak of his time rather then cursing him when he underperformed. we fans knew him better, we knew he's the best MF we ever had. in fact, he is Chelsea legend. but even legendary Maradona, Pele & Zidane doesn't last forever. his time has simply passed. the club must move on, it's been how many games since we seen the best of him? |

QUOTE(madfag @ Aug 23 2011, 08:49 AM) its a pity Rajkovic still could not join us in Stamford Bridge but i think his time will come. he was heavily involved in pre-season, a sign that the club wants his service. He's on the brink for the move already so i guess we won't see him again at Stamford Bridge it's unfortunate really, his size really suits to play in Premier League. btw, Spuds lose heavily at OT. it's about time for Modric |

if we want to suit Torres than better we buy Xabi+Gerrard as well. i think Torres should try mix himself in the team rather than players complement him. what if Mata also cannot provide him the pass he want? he's freaking 50 millions striker, don't tell me we need to spend another 60 mils just to suit his style.

Alvaro Pereire not very good looking, i'm dissapointed. pun intended.
btw, i hope we can wrap up the game against Norwich in the 1st half. cause i believe, AVB will bring Josh n Mata if we in control. otherwise, Kalouda again to the rescue! |

all our striker were poor.
i think Lampard was quite ok compare to previous games, he's getting there. my only concern is from Mikel until Hillario department. honestly, i don't prefer to have Mikel in the line up. especially against small team. he lying too deep in the midfield which provide nothing to the attacking build up. |

so what's the purpose of brought in Yossi then? just to lure Torres? and now he has fellow Spaniard at his disposal we just simply release the Israeli?
if anything, he been brilliant in pre season. last season was unfortunate due to bad injury. as i said before, kesian Yossi This post has been edited by hidzwan: Aug 29 2011, 08:57 PM |

with all respect to Pool fans, i think their board has made a wrong business this time. Of course in on the other hand, Chelsea gain the profit on Raul signings. 11mils is truly a bargain for a player with his stature. he might not be a popular figure due to injuries. But he is one of the player who quickly adapt to English football last season. my bet he's gonna be our star player this season and if i'm wrong then no harm, he's just 11mils. i'm glad spuds turned down a 40mils bid for Modric. had enough with flop already.

^ fair points. but i don't want lighting to strike the same place twice. everyone expecting Torres to shine for us and most pundits jump to conclude Suarez+Carrol won't compare to Torres alone. But, with hefty price tag pressure is too huge for a player especially in EPL where the media play a big role in the game as well, you know what happen next to Torres.
Modric > Meireles is fair testimony. while the former cost a bomb 40++mils, we get the latter for slightly above 10mils. Chelsea has chose. |
